How We Repaired Post-Partum Skin

Texture can be one of the hardest things to treat in body contouring… but it’s not impossible.

After 5 pregnancies, this client had come to me looking to tighten her skin and get her confidence back.

Pregnancy doesn’t just stretch the belly, it changes the entire structure and behavior of the skin.

It thins the dermal layers, changes laxity, creates mechanical stretching of the collagen and elastin fibers, and reduces the recoil ability, meaning the skin doesn’t snap back the same.

So we used a triple threat approach with RF, laser lipo, and wood therapy to help with contraction support, circulation, and tissue stimulation.

What most people don’t realize, is that wood therapy is a game changer for loose skin. When you combine certain tools with certain movements, and integrate it with the effects of radio frequency, it can double and even triple the results very quickly.

We also combined every session with our TIGHT skin tightening oil, aka our “snap-back elixir.”

This oil uses a high penetration delivery system that carries nutrients past the surface to help repair the structural damage, contracted the appearance of the skin and supported natural cell turnover, which is essential for that loose crepey texture.

It also aids in stretch mark fading and repairing, using antioxidants that specifically target the “scar tissue” feel of stretch marks, helping the skin to look more smooth and uniform.

Lastly, it strengthens the skin’s moisture barrier which is often compromised after the skin has been stretched, giving it back that healthy “snap.”

The results speak for themselves, but this client continues to be one of my favorite skin tightening transformations that I have performed.

Mamas, what’s your number 1 skin concern post-baby?

Let’s chat below! 👇🏼

2/18 Edited to

... Read moreHaving gone through multiple pregnancies myself, I understand firsthand how challenging it can be to regain tight, youthful skin after childbirth. The skin changes are profound—not just surface stretching but deeper structural shifts like thinning dermal layers and reduced collagen elasticity. What really helped me was integrating several approaches rather than relying on a single treatment. Radio frequency (RF) treatments boosted collagen production by gently heating the skin layers, encouraging natural regeneration. Laser lipo helped to reduce any stubborn fat deposits while stimulating improved circulation, which is critical for healing and skin nourishment. One technique that surprised me was wood therapy. It uses specialized wooden tools applied in massage-like movements that significantly improve circulation and tissue stimulation. I noticed my skin started to feel firmer and look more even after just a few sessions. The synergy when combined with radio frequency was impressive, speeding up results more than I initially expected. To support the treatments, I used a deeply penetrating skin tightening oil similar to a ’snap-back elixir.’ This oil helped repair structural damage on a cellular level, enhanced natural cell turnover, and restored moisture balance—key factors in combating crepey, loose skin and fading stretch marks. The antioxidants in the oil specifically targeted stretch mark scarring, making my skin look smoother and more uniform. Consistency was key. I found that combining these therapies with proper skincare and hydration made the biggest difference over time. For new moms struggling with post-partum skin concerns like laxity, texture, or stretch marks, this combined approach can be truly transformative. Sharing this has helped me connect with others facing similar challenges, and I encourage anyone dealing with post-pregnancy skin changes to explore these options and find a routine that brings back that healthy, confident glow.
