What are your favorite iPad editing apps?? 💛

I'm no editing expert, but these are some of my most used photo/video editing apps for the iPad!

Tezza

I recently started using this app, and now I literally can't stop. I love that you can save your editing presets, so all you have to do is click a button and it will automatically apply all the adjustments to each photo you edit. My current fav filter is Cocoa (I usually use it at 80%) and I also like to adjust exposure/brightness of my photos as well.

CapCut

This is my go to for editing video content! It's super easy to import files into the app and I find it pretty seamless to get the editing done as well. I don't do anything crazy with my content, so my editing mainly consists of cutting/splitting clips, adding small effects etc.

Adobe Illustrator

While this is the software I use for product designing, I also use it to add text overlays over photos for reel covers, IG stories etc. I'm not gonna lie, Adobe used to seem very overwhelming to me and I always thought it was gonna be something out of reach for my designing capabilities. But I'm so glad I taught myself how to use it, and it has become a staple for designing/content creation!

... Read moreAfter sharing my favorite iPad editing apps, I realized many of you might be curious about how to really get the most out of their interfaces, especially on an iPad! Let's dive a bit deeper into CapCut first. It's truly a game-changer for video editing on the go. When I open CapCut on my iPad, the layout feels so intuitive. Importing clips is a breeze – just tap 'New Project' and select from your iPad photos. For cutting and splitting, I love using the direct touch controls; dragging the timeline with my finger or the Apple Pencil feels incredibly precise. And for those popular text overlays? CapCut's mobile editing interface makes it super simple to add stylish text, animate it, and position it perfectly on your video. I often use the split-screen feature on my iPad to have my script open while I'm editing in CapCut, which is a huge time-saver! Next up, Adobe Illustrator on the iPad is an absolute powerhouse, especially when paired with an Apple Pencil. While the desktop version can feel overwhelming, the iPad interface is surprisingly user-friendly once you get the hang of it. For me, using it to create text overlays for reel covers or Instagram stories is where it truly shines. The precision of the Apple Pencil for selecting objects or fine-tuning text placement is unmatched. You can zoom in incredibly close, making sure your designs are pixel-perfect. It's not just for product design; I've found it invaluable for creating custom graphics right on my iPad. The gestural controls make navigating the artboard feel natural, allowing for a seamless creative flow, whether I'm sketching out an idea or finalizing a complex design. Now, for Tezza, while it's more about filters and presets, understanding its iPad photos app interface can really speed up your workflow. The large screen makes it easy to preview different filters like 'Cocoa' at various intensities. I often use the adjust tools to fine-tune exposure and brightness right there. What I've also found incredibly useful is pairing my iPad with a white keyboard (just like you see in some of the visuals!). While not directly for editing within the apps, it seriously speeds up tasks like naming files, adding descriptions, or even jotting down ideas for my next video. It transforms my iPad into a mini-studio. These apps, combined with the iPad's capabilities, truly make it a versatile video editing app interface and photo retouch app interface right in your hands. The beauty of having these robust editing tools on my iPad is the flexibility. I can start editing a video on CapCut on my couch, then refine a graphic in Illustrator at a coffee shop, all on the same device. The touch interface of the iPad, combined with the power of these apps, really simplifies what used to be a complex desktop-only process. If you're looking to elevate your content creation without being tied to a desk, exploring the detailed interfaces of these apps on your iPad is definitely the way to go. You'll be amazed at what you can achieve!
