Romanticizing life for my sanity ✨

Lately I’ve been trying to slow down and actually be in the moment instead of constantly thinking about what comes next (admittedly a bad habit of mine). The good food. The coffee. The books. The little things that make an ordinary day feel a little less ordinary. Maybe romanticizing life isn

✨Book Review📕📝

Finished On Wings of Blood and came away with mixed but overall positive feelings. Junk food level bingeability and spice. 🔥 But I wanted more from the plot and world building. It read like a Fourth Wing x Harry Potter AU fanfic with vampires and some King Arthur inspo. I liked the overall vibe

A day in the life of a reader

Went out for a little lunch date with Jake and of course I had to stop by Barnes and Noble and do some light shopping. I’ve been wanting to re-read 1984 so I opted to go ahead and grab that along with a couple other books. We ended at our fave Thai spot and I ate waaayy too much Pad Thai.

A story stitched with feminine rage

“If we were men. . . It did not matter. They were not and the history of the world was written in women’s wombs and women’s blood and she would never be allowed to change it.” Anger, determination, and a sense of justice aid Marra in her quest to take out the evil Prince and rescue her sister.
