Amen I putting God in my way of love
In my personal journey, distinguishing between lust and love has been transformative. Lust often feels impulsive and focused on immediate gratification, whereas love, especially when guided by faith, requires patience and a deeper commitment. Reflecting on biblical teachings, such as 1 Corinthians 13:4-8, which describes love as patient and kind, has helped me understand that true love emphasizes enduring respect and consistency. Unlike lust, which can leave one feeling empty and self-centered, genuine love is selfless and encourages growth in both individuals. Integrating God into my path of love has allowed me to appreciate relationships beyond surface-level attraction. It’s about valuing shared morals, heart, and long-term goals rather than fleeting desires. This approach not only fosters emotional security but also spiritual harmony. I’ve learned that love waits—it does not rush into decisions driven by selfish cravings. Embracing the spirit-led journey means avoiding the trap of manipulating situations for personal gain, which lust often attempts. By focusing on building love grounded in faith, kindness, and patience, relationships become a source of lasting joy and fulfillment.
