Little Rock not only has several indie bookstores, but also Six Bridges Book Festival. I came for the festival and went to Sammy’s Bookshelf and WordsWorth Books. #bookshopping🛒 #indiebookstore #bookbuyingproblem

Books I’d recommend to basically anyone who asks me what to read next 📚
A mix of literary fiction, family secrets, gothic mystery, morally questionable friend groups and one extremely inconvenient neighborhood vampire. If you’ve read any of these, tell me whether we can be friends. #bookrecommendations #readingwithfriends #lemon8bookclub

What’s currently living on my end table, plus my extremely detailed understanding of what each book is about. Some of these I bought with purpose. Some of these are apparently just vibes until I actually open them. Which one would you pick up first? #TBR #CurrentlyReading #lemon8book

More mini-reviews for some recent reads. Lois Lowry is out with a new dystopian story. Katie Jung has a haunting curse story. And Mackenzie Reed makes demon hunting a job. #BookReview #dystopianbooks #ghoststories #romancereads

No fall list is complete without a haunted house or two. Here are a few fall reads to add to your TBR. Some scarier than others. #fallreads #hauntedhouse #bookrecs

Surprise! Ghosts are real. 👻
I love a book where the main character starts out living a normal life and then has to deal with the fact that ghosts are very much real. Some of these are funny, some are creepy, and some are mostly just inconvenient for everyone involved. Which one would you pick up? #GhostBooks #Fall

Remedial Magic and Small Town, Big Magic reminded me that one of my favorite witchy setups is finding out your normal life was never actually normal. Then I came up with “Surprise! You’re a Witch!” and had to find three more books that fit. So now I have three more witchy books to try to squeeze

Kindle Unlimited keeps talking me out of spending money. I had every intention of buying these, but then I checked KU and found a dystopian series, an entire Neal Shusterman trilogy, cowboy romance, and several romances already sitting there waiting for me. So technically I saved money. Pl

School is back, which means the fictional drama is back too. Gifted kids being used as weapons. Rejection turning into obsession. School moms with alibis. Exhausted parents. Magical colleges where everyone makes terrible choices. Basically, education is going great. Which one are you addin

School is back, and I’m manifesting fall with some academic mystery and thriller vibes. Secret societies, elite schools, blackmail, questionable choices, and more than a few murders. Basically, the kind of syllabus I’m actually willing to sign up for. Which one are you adding to your TBR?

I hit Novelette Booksellers, Parnassus Books, Slow Burn Bookshop, and The Bookshop in Nashville and somehow did not buy every book that caught my eye. These are the ones I left behind. Which one should I go back for? #NashvilleBookstores #BookstoreCrawl #BookRecommendations #BookTok

Three August reads I’m still thinking about, for very different reasons. The Whisper Man was creepy without becoming full horror, Trad Wife got under my skin in the best way, and Dolly All the Time gave me fake dating with grown-up characters I actually believed. A solid month, even if my rea

Fake dating makes a lot more sense when romance novels explain it. Your best friend likes your ex? Kiss a random guy. Your enemy needs a job? Marry him. Need a new roof? Find a guy with an image problem and draw up a contract. I’ve been reading a lot of fake dating lately and honestly, half

July Top Reads
I forgot to post my favorite books from July. It included a cozy fantasy and two romances. The Mash Up reminded me of the Barbie movie. Violet Thistlewaite is Not a Villain Anymore has me wishing I owned a flower shop. And Good at Being Alive has me still rethinking my life. All are great four star

Three September releases down, two to go. Trad Wife was the standout. Creepy, weird, and exactly my kind of unsettling. A Study in Sparkling was solid, just not quite as good as An Academic Affair. A Map to Murder had me much more invested in the 1960s mystery than the present-day one.
