Just my opinion in order to survive any type of relationship you first need to love god and yourself you need time to get to know yourself and know your worth and set healthy boundaries example I’m not putting up with anything or anybody who is disrespectful etc. you have to be willing to forgive and ask for forgiveness you have to pray ask god to help you love that person unconditionally and wholeheartedly with a pure open heart and mind and you can’t go into any relationship comparing them to your past and whatever has happened in your past you need time to process and heal and please move the fuck on if not it will destroy that new relationship before it even takes off and you have to have trust regardless you gotta have faith and fully understanding and a must you both have to pray together and for each other and always keep god front and center without god nothing last forever and instead of wasting your time and energy going back and forth take time out and pray for that person shortcomings ask god to help that person and y’all relationship and I suggest that you both watch the movie called THE WAR ROOM and THE NOTEBOOK my two favorite movies be war teaches you how to fight the right way for your partner and it teaches you how to be appreciative to each other and the notebook teaches and shows you exactly what love and friendship is all about to me there’s no love more powerful than Noah loving Allie to me that’s the type of love and romance I want and would love to have I definitely would appreciate it and show you exactly that my love is pure and real deep 🥰
