「嵐山 プリン」「京プリン 嵐山」で調べている人向けに、私が行ってみて感じた“失敗しないポイント”を追記します。FUKUSHICHIは渡月橋を南側に渡ってすぐ、嵐山中之島公園エリアにあるので、竹林側や嵐電嵐山駅周辺だけを歩いていると見落としやすいです。人が多い日は、まず渡月橋を渡って公園側に移動すると、食べ歩きの動線がスムーズでした。 京プリンの特徴は「京都の白餡を使ったプリン」というところ。一般的なカスタードの“卵感どっしり”とは違って、濃厚なのに後味が軽くて、暑い日や歩き疲れたタイミングでも食べやすかったです。食べ歩きスイーツって揚げ物系やこってり系も多いので、「重たくない甘いものが欲しい」ときの選択肢としてかなり優秀だと思います。 味選びに迷ったら、まずは“京都っぽさ”で選ぶのがおすすめ。メニューは七福神モチーフで7種類あり、京抹茶×柚子みたいな和の組み合わせが特に気になりました。私は苺と鶯甘納豆、三種類のチーズを食べましたが、どちらも白餡ベースだからか甘さがしつこくなくて、2個でも意外とペロッといけます。逆に「王道プリンの硬め食感」を想像していると別物なので、“新感覚の京プリン”として行くと満足度が上がります。 あと個人的に良かったのが竹製の容器。見た目に高級感があって写真映えするし、七福神（布袋尊・寿老人など）の名前が入っていてちょっと縁起物っぽいのも旅気分が上がりました。購入後は公園のベンチで食べるのが手軽ですが、持ち帰りやホテルでゆっくり食べたい人にも向いています。 撮影するなら、渡月橋を背景に竹の容器を入れて撮ると“嵐山で京プリン食べてる感”が出やすいです。嵐山観光の合間に、さっぱり系のプリンで休憩したい人はぜひ候補に入れてみてください。
