私が玉造温泉でいちばんテンション上がったのが、「美肌の湯」をそのまま持ち帰れる体験でした。場所は玉造温泉街の湯薬師橋近くの手湯スポット。ここ、源泉かけ流しの温泉水をテイクアウトできるので、観光ついでに寄りやすいです。 まず「美肌温泉ボトル」は手湯のすぐそばにある無人販売箱で購入しました。私が行った時は1本200円。透明のスプレーボトルで、サイズ感も持ち歩きやすくてお土産にちょうどいいです。買ったらその場で温泉水を注ぎ入れるだけなので、手順はかなり簡単でした。 美肌温泉ボトルの使い方は、私は「化粧水の置き換え」よりも“プラスαのケア”として使うのが合いました。おすすめは2つ。 1つ目はお風呂上がり・洗顔後にシュッとひと吹き。肌が乾く前に、いつもの化粧水→乳液（またはクリーム）でフタをすると、しっとり感が続きやすかったです。温泉水は蒸発もしやすいので、スプレーだけで終わらせないのがポイント。 2つ目はコットンパック。コットンを軽く湿らせて頬に数分のせると、旅行中の乾燥対策に助かりました。ただ、肌が敏感な日は無理しないで、赤みが出たらすぐ中止が安心です。 注意点もいくつか。温泉水は気温や季節で温度が変わるので、汲む時はやけどに注意。あと「汲んだらその日のうちに使い切り」と案内がある通り、保存は短期前提です。私は冷蔵庫に入れて早めに使い切りましたが、においや濁りなど違和感が出たら使わないのが安全だと思います。 玉造温泉は露天風呂も気持ちいいですが、温泉街でこういう体験ができるのが魅力。美肌の湯らしさを“持ち帰り”で実感できたので、初めて行く人にもおすすめです。
