Dollar General is the New Dollar Tree for many items. Don’t get me wrong I love Dollar Tree and everything they have to offer. That extra 25¢ increase really did help add a ton of more high quality products! But for many items, the $1.25 price tags just isn’t worth it!

Dollar General has an entire $1 aisle and has not increased the prices in this aisle. This aisle offers food, cleaning supplies, and more for just $1 each! At Dollar General, you can find many of the same items that Dollar Tree has! And at Dollar General these items are 25¢ less. That 25¢ adds up, especially with how tight money can be these days!

Also on Saturday’s, Dollar General offers a coupon for $5 off $25 on anything in the store! So if you use that on Saturdays you can save even more on these items!

I think if you know you’re going to be doing a big haul of items, try going to Dollar General first and see what you can find for $1. Try going on Saturday and save that extra $5 off too!
