Bad carpentry work

My home reno just finish 6 months ago and recently by chance while cleaning, I saw there’s like a 10mm gap between the kitchen floor and cabinet for some part of the carpentry. They just slot some wood in to balance out the gap. This gap is an irk to me as pest and water might go in. Now the
