4D3N Exploring KL

Day 1

We came out at 5 am to catch the early bus from Larkin. When we reach JB custom everything is smooth ride cos we are the only family crossing the border wee early in the morning.Larkin Bus station already jam packed with people.

6 hours ride from JB to KL.Bus driver like speedy Gonzales.Supposedly to leave at 6.30 am.We leave at 7 .15am.Then he parked at petrol station for conductor to check bus ticket.Bus continue journey at 8 am and he speed all the way to rest stop at one station for only 10 mins.We reach Tbs station at around 12.30pm.

Check in to Robertson Air BnB.Not bad.i love the view from our apartment.

TRX -Tun Razak Exchange our place to go since it is newly opened my hubby wants to go and explore the new shopping mall.Very Christmassy feeling.Feeling like in Marina Bay Sands.I just want to check out the Hatendo Japanese cream bun.I so prefer the chocolate. It is nice creamy texture but it is just one time thingy.Met my sister there with her hubby and have lovely dinner at Din Tai Fung my favourite Dim Sum place.

Day 2

Sky Luge Adventure

Spend 4 hours only managed to get 2 ride.Cannot wait for the place to be fully opened with malls and then park then it would be a whole day event.

Back to Lala port shopping mall near my Air BnB to have our Seoul Garden.Worth the buck...

Day 3

Both my hubby N son are a bit down and sore from Luge, so we do free and easy.Off to Jalan Masjid to buy my baju raya.i know right.Kiasu. Plenty of Pasar Malam food and sellers selling clothes.i managed to get tailor made baju kurung for both me and my daughter. They sent it to my apartment at around 8.30pm.Not bad.Again we went to KLCC for sweet desserts before calling it a day..

Day 4 Bye bye KL it has been fun.Till we meet again soon.

Rating /⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐: 4/5 Love the vibe of Christmas in the heart of the city of KL.Truly eye opener.#MyLemon8Diary #FoodDeals #WhereToShop #trx #skyluge #familybonding

... Read moreAside from the highlights shared, Kuala Lumpur offers a wealth of amusement and theme parks that are perfect for family outings beyond the city’s shopping malls and festive scenes. Places such as Berjaya Times Square Theme Park or Sunway Lagoon provide thrilling rides and water attractions catering to all ages, making them great alternatives when exploring KL. Additionally, if you're visiting TRX, don't miss trying the famous "bungkus kawkaw" food packs—these are local favorites for convenient and tasty meals perfect for a quick bite while shopping or touring the city. For book lovers, Sri Tanjong Bookstore Sdn Bhd is a recommended spot if you want to dive into local literature or find unique cultural reads. Although it’s not directly mentioned in the itinerary, many travelers find it enriching to blend cultural discoveries with their urban adventures. Planning your itinerary with a balance of shopping, food experiences, and amusement parks will enrich your Kuala Lumpur visit. Exploring places like Halolo Park MY offers a garden escape that is less crowded and provides a serene walking experience around the city area. Incorporating these spots can turn a short trip into a memorable multifaceted vacation that appeals to all interests and ages.
