Alaska

Alaska really is so much fun 🥹 Glaciers, fjords, whale watching, polar days, and along the way wild . Animals Alaska in the summer is a beauty I didn't expect! You don't have to endure the cold at all, but you get to do it all at once: huge glaciers, "polar" skies that light up all day long, bears and caribou on the drive, and a boat ride that makes you cry when you see whales jumping out of the water! There are also national parks and driving routes in Alaska, all of which are blockbusters 🎥 I'm now crazy about them. Favor everyone who wants to escape the summer heat and see nature to go! If I could pick just one US state to visit this summer, I'd pick Alaska!

... Read moreAlaska in summer offers an extraordinary experience unlike any other US state. While many associate Alaska with harsh cold and snow, the summer months reveal a vibrant landscape bathed in nearly 24 hours of daylight due to the phenomenon known as the 'Midnight Sun.' This extended daylight is perfect for exploring Alaska’s vast natural wonders at your own pace. The glaciers of Alaska are among its most iconic features. Places like Glacier Bay National Park and Kenai Fjords National Park showcase enormous ice formations that calve spectacularly into the sea. Witnessing whales breach the water or otters play amidst the fjords adds a magical wildlife element that truly connects you with nature. Wildlife is abundant and varied beyond just bears and caribou. Birdwatchers can delight in spotting bald eagles and puffins, while adventurous travelers might catch glimpses of moose or even the elusive lynx. Many guided tours and boat rides specialize in close encounters with these magnificent animals, enhancing an already unforgettable trip. For road trip enthusiasts, scenic driving routes such as the Seward Highway and the Dalton Highway offer breathtaking vistas of rugged mountains, pristine rivers, and dense forests. These drives are not just transport but part of the adventure itself, with multiple stops for hiking, photography, and cultural exploration. Finally, Alaska’s national parks provide a gateway to wilderness preservation and outdoor activities—ranging from kayaking and fishing to hiking and camping. These parks preserve diverse ecosystems and cultural heritage, making them educational spots as well as recreational getaways. If you're planning a summer escape that combines dramatic landscapes, unique wildlife encounters, and serene natural beauty, Alaska is unmatched. Don’t forget to prepare for variable weather and bring appropriate gear to fully enjoy all the outdoor activities and sightseeing opportunities.
