DIY High Current Banana Test Leads!

For testing high current battery packs, normal "off-the-shelf" banana leads aren't a good solution.

The small wire gauge creates too much voltage drop and the plug ends are cheap, bend, and wear out quickly.

My solution:

• 14ga silicone wire

• EZ Hook 9202R/B jacks (pricey, but worth it)

• Soldered banana plugs for max current and durability (at your own risk)

• Can carry 10-20amps (Plugs are only rated to 15amps)

These DIY leads are awesome to have in my electronics lab, and have made testing allot easier.

With these custom leads in your electronics lab, you gain a significant advantage for high current testing projects, enabling you to focus on development without the worry of equipment failure. Plus, they are an excellent addition to any DIY enthusiast's toolkit, allowing for greater versatility in projects involving batteries and other high-current components.
