Day 6 of walking 30 minutes on my walking pad ✨

United States
1/4 Edited to

... Read moreHey everyone! So glad you're here to follow along with my September Walking Pad Challenge! As you know, today is Day 6, and I'm really getting into the groove of my 30-minute daily walks. If you've been thinking about starting your own walking pad fitness challenge for weight loss, let me share some of my personal insights and tips that I've found incredibly helpful. First off, why a walking pad? For me, it's been a game-changer. I used to struggle with consistency because of weather, time, or just finding the motivation to leave the house. My walking pad allows me to squeeze in those crucial 30 minutes of activity no matter what. It’s perfect for busy schedules, letting me walk while watching my favorite shows, listening to podcasts, or even taking calls. This convenience is absolutely key to sticking with a walking pad challenge for weight loss over the long term. It removes so many common excuses! If you're just getting started, don't feel pressured to go for an hour right away. My goal of 30 minutes on the walking pad daily feels achievable and sustainable. Start with 15-20 minutes if you need to, and gradually increase your duration or speed as your fitness improves. The most important thing is to just get moving consistently! I’ve found setting a small, consistent goal is much better than aiming for something huge and then getting discouraged. Remember, even if you miss a day, like I did earlier this week (it happens to everyone!), don't beat yourself up. Just get right back on your walking pad the next day! It's all about progress, not perfection. Embrace the journey and celebrate every single step forward. To make your 30 minutes on the walking pad more engaging, try varying your routine. Sometimes I do a steady pace, other times I incorporate short bursts of faster walking or inclines if my walking pad has that feature. This helps to keep things interesting and also boosts calorie burn. Creating a dedicated playlist or queueing up an exciting podcast can also make the time fly by. And don't forget hydration! Keep a water bottle nearby. When considering a walking pad for your own fitness challenge, think about what's important to you. Are you looking for something compact that tucks away easily under furniture? Or do you need something with a slightly wider belt for more comfort and stability? While I won't name specific brands like a 'Rolenva treadmill', I definitely recommend looking for one that is quiet enough not to disturb others, has a reliable motor, and a decent speed range. These are features that make a walking pad truly effective and enjoyable for a long-term fitness challenge. Always ensure it feels sturdy and safe for your daily routines. Reading reviews about stability and noise levels can be very helpful! This September Challenge isn't just about the physical aspects; it's also about building a healthy habit and improving mental well-being. I've noticed a significant boost in my energy levels, better sleep, and an improved mood since committing to these 30 minutes a day. It’s a dedicated time for me to focus purely on my well-being. If you're looking for an accessible and effective way to improve your health, boost your fitness, and embark on a sustainable weight loss journey, I highly recommend giving a walking pad challenge a try. Let's keep moving forward together, one step at a time!

one day I woke up and realized I hit rock bottom with my weight and I needed to change. so I did and this is how I did it without stepping into a gym. - I started off with drinking only water and quit drinking soda and any drink with calories in it. I fill up my 40oz tumbler at least 3x a day.
