Divorce Is Off The Table for Me and My Husband
Divorce Is Off The Table for Me and My Husband
Not because we’re perfect.
Not because we never have bad days.
Not because we always get it right.
Divorce is off the table because we understand that:
✨Bad days aren't signs to quit — they're invitations to mature.
✨We are two humans in desperate need of daily grace not judges, but partners in mercy.
✨Neither of us is innocent. We both cause pain sometimes — and we both are responsible to heal, grow, and forgive.
We know love isn’t a feeling.
It isn’t just a pretty word we say at anniversaries.
Love is a Person — and His Name is Jesus.
He sits at the center of our marriage, holding together what our pride would’ve broken.
When issues rise, we don't lean away — we lean deeper into God.
When anger flares, we run toward His throne, not toward the exit.
Divorce is off the table because our marriage isn’t about us it’s about the Kingdom.
✨We were designed for each other
✨Gifted to each other
✨Built together
✨Sent together
To fulfill a piece of the Great Commission that only our union can carry out.
Selflessness is the soil of our marriage.
Grace is the air we breathe.
Repentance is the bridge we cross daily.
Forgiveness is the river we drink from freely.
Marriage isn't where you go to "stay happy."
Marriage is where you go to be sanctified.
Marriage is where you learn to love like Christ — fiercely, humbly, forever.
To the wife who feels like giving up:
I know you’re tired.
I know it feels impossible some days.
I know the enemy whispers that it would be easier to walk away.
But I need you to hear this loud and clear:
God didn’t call you to easy — He called you to holy.
God didn’t design marriage to make you feel good — He designed it to make you look like Him.
There is resurrection power in your covenant.
There is healing still available.
There is a softer, stronger version of you both on the other side of this storm.
Don’t let temporary frustration rob you of eternal purpose.
Stay planted. Stay humble. Stay fighting.
Because love never fails —
When Love Himself is in the center.
Save this if your marriage matters more than your pride.
Comment "Fighting for Forever" if you’re choosing covenant over comfort.
