days 1–4 of my tonsillectomy recovery 🤍 day 1: surgery day. i was able to talk right after surgery, eat a popsicle, and drink a chick-fil-a milkshake. i thought, “okay, maybe this won’t be so bad!” 🥹 day 2: reality hit. i could barely talk, eating was nearly impossible, and everything hurt. 😭

so i got my tonsils removed… and nobody told me i’d be fighting for my life trying to swallow water 😭 it feels like there is legit glass in my throat. #tonsillectomy #tonsillectomyrecovery #recoveryjourney #recovery #healing
