I love reality/time loop stories, the idea of being stuck in a reality/time loop is absolutely terrifying; I was enjoying this book until about 1/2 way thru chapter 5, took a little left but the ending was great. #octoberreads #lemon8bookclub #bookish #bookrecs #inareadingmood

Loved this short stories collection! This is my 2nd book from this author, have 1 more of hers currently on my TBR, hoping to catch it on sale one day 😅 Liked this more than Mary: An Awakening of Terror, gave this book a solid 4 star rating! Such a good spooky season read. #horrorbookrecommend

Mehh, this one was overhyped in my humblest reader opinion. Ended up rating 3 stars, it was ok, I feel like I’ve just read this plot, seasoned this way & that, too many times already. #inareadingmood #readmorebooks #lemon8bookclub #bookrec #octoberreads

Loved this book! Definitely recommend for the October reading list 🧛‍♀️🩸 #octoberbooks #spookyseasonreads #inareadingmood #lemon8bookclub #readingrecs

What can I say, I love the crazy woman stories *shrugs* #spookyseasonreads #spookyseasonbooks #inareadingmood #lemon8bookclub #bookstoread

If there was ever a bad time to bite off more than you can chew, while seeking revenge is definitely at the top of the list! Hard for things to go according to plan when the unwitting players have plans of their own. #lemon8bookclub #spookyseasonbooks #spookyseasonreads #bookrecs #inare

The scary part of this book is how realistic the plot is. How do you defend yourself when the only crime you’re alleged to have committed happened in a dream you can’t even remember. #speculativefiction #scifi #inareadingmood #lemon8bookclub #books

Haven’t gotten book 2 of this series yet but I will be. Although I don’t really read YA anymore, there are still young adult books that I’ve enjoyed in recent years & a few are by this author. T.J. Klune knows how to create fantasy worlds! All of the books that I’ve read by this author would be

This book was not at all what I expected, granted I hadn’t really looked into the book before reading. It was on 1 or another reading recommendations list, the cover intrigued me, the book’s synopsis intrigued me, I read it. I have since also read part 2, this is an interesting small series. They a

We Were Forbidden by Jacqueline Harpman Solid 4 stars! & that rating may go higher after I reread it. It is so rare for books to make it on to my reread stack (currently only 5 books), despite only being just over 100 pages this is a deep read & has been on my mind since I read it last m

I loved this read! Finished in just 2 days, once I started reading I was immersed & could not get enough. Rated a solid 4 stars! #historicalfiction #lemon8bookclub #bookrecs #currentlyreading #inareadingmood

This was a sad read, don’t read much YA anymore but this book was on my TBR list for a very long time so I decided to read it anyway, definitely recommend skimming before deciding if your teens can read it as there is mention of se-ual assault & abuse. A tragic story about a young girl who has

Another okay suspense mystery, family secrets spanning decades. Naturally everyone’s keeping something from someone, they are a family after all, but there is a saying about what’s done in the dark. #recentreads #suspense #lemon8bookclub #bookrecommendations #inareadingmood

Although passion fruit & watermelon are tied for a very close 2nd place, cherries & quenepas are my absolute favorite fruits ever ever! I love cherry flavored everything & can never have too many quenepas, especially when there still just a little bit sour 😋 #favoritefruit #fruitl

I loved this story, author Elizabeth Acevedo has a beautiful power of storytelling. Set in modern day Philadelphia, this contemporary YA coming of age novel features teen Emoni Santiago juggling being a mother while finishing high-school & pursing a culinary career as an emerging adult. #r

Hell hath no fury like a lovely wife, or how ever it goes… This was a quick 2 day read, just under 400 pages, crime suspense mystery. #lemon8bookclub #thrillerbooks #suspensebook #inareadingmood #bookstoread
