3.5 Months Post Op Lower Body Lift Photos and Nearly 3 Week Post Op Upper Body Lift Updates ‼️

I have more to share with you because right now I’m almost 7 weeks post op as I type this but I have been having a LOT of hand and arm swelling that makes it so difficult to edit my videos, let alone do other basics around the house. I really wasn’t expecting to still feel like I have Mickey Mouse hands still!!

Oh and the nerve pain, don’t put me behind the wheel anytime soon because that has been ALL OVER my body not just my surgical areas and it lasts so long!!

I’ll do a scar update next, to be honest I haven’t been even looking at them that much other than to make sure nothings open because it hurts 🫣. And I actually didn’t really have any openings until after 6 weeks when I’m supposed to be “done healing” lol go figure!!

Oh and if you’re wanting my PCOS/PMOS tips I mentioned make sure you have your messages turned on and that you are following and if you comment TIPS I can send them right to you!! 💕

Thank you for watching!! And before I see you next time, I am wishing you lots of happiness and random acts of joy to light you up ☀️

... Read moreRecovering from extensive body lift surgeries—such as lower and upper body lifts—can be a rollercoaster of physical and emotional challenges. At nearly 7 weeks post-op, it’s common to experience unexpected issues like persistent swelling, nerve pain, and delayed scar healing, as shared in this journey. Hand and arm swelling, described as feeling like "Mickey Mouse hands," and widespread nerve discomfort can interfere with daily tasks and even simple activities like driving. This experience highlights the importance of patience and gentle body care during the recovery phase. Nerve pain after such procedures can linger longer than expected, spreading beyond the surgical sites, underscoring the need for ongoing pain management and communication with healthcare providers. An essential part of recovery is monitoring scars for openings or delayed healing, which can occur even after 6 weeks. It’s crucial to avoid strain on the incisions and follow your surgeon’s guidance closely. Many patients find themselves surprised by how much healing extends beyond the timeframe they were initially told. Managing underlying conditions such as PCOS and lipedema plays a vital role in surgical outcomes and overall wellness. Conservative treatments like manual lymphatic drainage (MLD), compression therapy, and specialized routines combining diet and lifestyle modifications can help control swelling and improve comfort. Insurance coverage for procedures addressing lipedema and excess skin removal is sometimes available when the surgery is medically necessary—addressing issues like pain, rashes, swelling, and heaviness. Personal experience also reveals the psychological aspect of such transformations. Embracing your body during recovery, accepting uneven swelling and changes, and focusing on long-term health and happiness are key. Sharing tips and supporting others coping with PCOS and lipedema can foster self-advocacy and empowerment throughout the journey. This journey reminds us that healing is seldom linear but with the right support, treatments, and mindset, it’s possible to move toward a healthier, more comfortable life. If you're considering similar surgeries or managing PCOS/lipedema, connecting with specialists and communities focused on these conditions can provide invaluable guidance and hope.

When did you get your first postpartum period?
I know everybody is different but just curious when everyone got their first period back after their babies were born. I am now 3.5 months postpartum and still haven’t gotten mine. I am breastfeeding, I know that can play a factor too. I was doing self testing every few weeks 😂 #letschat #Ask
