my dream careers ✨📚📹💄

i was camping with my bf’s family last year and during one of those nights, we had such a deep talk about life. one of the topics was careers we would want if money wasn’t a factor. ever since then, it stuck with me how there are probably so many people who had dream careers but reality wouldn’t let them have it. so, with that being said, i wanna share what are my dream careers and why i would love to have them if money didn’t matter!

📚 author/writer :

funny enough, i was really good at writing! i wanted to be an english major because it just came easily to me. although, i know my grammar would need some work but that typical these days, no? i used to write stories and hope that one day i would be a famous author! writing stories is truly a passion of mine but unfortunately, i tend to never finish them which causes me to not pursue a career as an author. also, my high school student counselor really sh*t on me for wanting to be a journalist so there’s that 🥲

💄 freelance makeup artist:

in my group of friends, i am their make up guru funny enough LOL they always want me in a sephora with them and do their make up for special events. even with my family!! i grew up watching michelle phan and started teaching myself how to do make up at a young age. i like to say i’m pretty good at it, heh. but honestly, i would hate to make this a career CAUSE i love it so much. i get scared that one day, it’ll become a chore and my passion for it will die. i love make up and doing others make up for fun. maybe one day i’ll make it into a side hustle but till then, i like it as something i can do for my family and friends 😊

📹 youtuber/ “influencer”:

i keep putting quotations on influencer because i’m still lowkey scared of the title, heh. i give influencers major props for what they do because the judgement they get in a daily basis is insane. i do want to be one but like i said in my previous post about social media, i’m still scared. but i love the idea of having a community of people who has the same interest with me and i could be a guide to others one day 🥹 with doing youtube? i loooove editing videos. it’s my favorite hobby but unfortunately, i’m not really good at capturing the content to make a video. i’m one of those people who want to be in the moment and put the phone down so being a youtuber might be a challenge for me to achieve but who knows? maybe i’ll get the hang of it one day 🫡
