Why pay $395? This outlet Coach bag does more 👜
I love the Coach Brooklyn, it’s one of my favorite bags ever! However, sometimes I want a zipper to make everything feel more secure (I also like to save some $$$) and the Coach Outlet Ella solves both of those issues!
The Coach Outlet Ella has the same same hobo crescent shape as the Brooklyn and the handles are attached in a very similar way, it even has the little loop on the side for bag charms!
Unlike the Brooklyn, the Ella has a zipper and an adjustable strap which can also be a crossbody bag. Didn’t mention it is almost $200 less than the Brooklyn?!
The Brooklyn is made of high quality full grain leather while the Ella is made of Natural grain nappa leather
With a Fabric lining.
Which one do you prefer?!
Choosing the right handbag involves balancing style, functionality, and budget. From my experience, the Coach Outlet Ella offers an impressive combination of these factors, especially when compared to the Coach Brooklyn. While the Brooklyn is crafted from luxurious full grain leather, giving it a rich feel, the Ella’s natural grain nappa leather with a fabric lining provides a lighter, more casual option that's still durable. What really won me over with the Ella is the practical addition of a zipper closure. Unlike the Brooklyn’s magnetic snap, the zipper gives a sense of security when carrying valuables around town. Plus, the adjustable strap allowing it to convert into a crossbody makes it perfect for hands-free wear, which is essential for busy days or travel. During my own use, I found the Ella’s slouchier silhouette more relaxed and versatile, fitting well with both casual and slightly dressier outfits. The presence of the little loop on the side, a design detail also found on the Brooklyn, lets you personalize the bag with charms to match your style. Price-wise, the nearly $200 saving makes the Ella an attractive choice without feeling like you're sacrificing quality or style. If you're someone who appreciates classic hobo shapes but needs extra security and practicality, the Ella could be the ideal pick. On the other hand, if you prefer premium materials and a more structured feel, the Brooklyn remains a top-tier choice. Ultimately, both bags have their unique highlights. Whether you prioritize budget-friendly features or premium craftsmanship, understanding these differences can help you choose a handbag that suits your lifestyle and fashion needs perfectly.
