What an Early Rosacea Flare Looks Like in Perimenopause
Rosacea flares don’t always start dramatically. For me, they usually begin as tiny, slightly raised red dots on my nose. Most people probably wouldn’t notice them yet—but I know my skin. Heat is one of my biggest triggers, and Charleston summers definitely test me. When I catch a flare early,

The Westman Atelier Suprême Skin Foundation hype got me… and now I get it. 😂
I’ve been testing this foundation for over a week on my oily, mature skin—and between the incredibly skin-like finish, buildable coverage, skincare-forward formula and the fact that it survived Charleston heat, humidity AND Cougar Puberty hot flashes… I’m impressed. I tested four shades—M4, M5,

I Developed Rosacea at 49 😳 | Perimenopause Skin
Rosacea was NOT on my Cougar Puberty bingo card. 🫠 I was diagnosed right before turning 50 after my skin suddenly became red, reactive and sensitive. One year later, my skin is much calmer. My two ride-or-dies? 🧊 Cold for flares + 💜 beta glucan every day. Anyone else notice their skin chan

The 2 P.M. Perimenopause Slump
That 2 p.m. perimenopause slump is real. 😩 HRT has helped, but I can still hit that afternoon wall. After several weeks of NAD+ support, I’ve noticed a subtle boost in energy and mental clarity. Have you tried NAD+? Gifted by Vibrality. All opinions are my own. #Perimenopause #NADPl

Things I Wish I Knew Before My Hysterectomy 💜
I don’t regret my hysterectomy for a second—but I do wish I’d been more prepared for what came afterward. Hormones. Hair. Weight. Sensitive skin. It felt like my body changed overnight. This is my personal experience, and I hope it helps another woman feel a little less alone. 💬 What’s som

If I Lost My Entire Makeup Collection Tomorrow, I’d Buy These 5 Products Again
If I lost my entire makeup collection tomorrow, I already know the 5 products I’d buy again first. Cougar puberty has completely changed the way I shop for makeup. I buy fewer products now, but the ones I keep have truly earned their place in my routine. ✨ Chanel Le Teint Concealer ✨ Victori

I Thought I Was Done With Concealer…
A few months ago, I basically stopped wearing concealer. At 50, I found that layering concealer over foundation often made my under-eyes look heavier and cakier, so I started letting my foundation do most of the work instead. Then I tried Chanel Le Teint Concealer in B50… and completely chang

This Purple Chanel Blush Shocked Me (Mature Skin Review)
When I squeezed this out of the tube, I immediately questioned my life choices. Purple? Really? But once I blended it in… I got it. The Chanel Les Beiges Healthy Glow Blush in Nectar gives the prettiest soft flush on my olive skin. It’s sheer enough to look natural, but you can build it up witho

My foundation already covers my dark circles… so why did I buy this concealer?
At 50, I’m not looking for more coverage. I’m looking for brightness. I’ve been using the new Chantecaille concealer in the inner corners, outer corners, and on my cheekbones for a subtle brightening effect without looking heavy or cakey. Sometimes less concealer really does look better.

Do We Really Need Blush, Bronzer & Contour After 50?
For years, I assumed I needed all three. As someone with medium skin, I bought the bronzers, peach blushes, and contour products everyone recommended. But after a lot of experimenting, I’ve realized something surprising: ✨ Bronzer doesn’t do much for me. ✨ Contour does even less. ✨ But b

Are Women Over 45 Replacing Primer With Sunscreen?
I think women over 45 are quietly changing what we want from makeup prep. At 50, I still want coverage and polished makeup… but I don’t want thick layers sitting on my skin anymore. Lately I’ve been moving away from traditional primers and just using sunscreen underneath my makeup instead.
