While we couldn’t preserve the old wallpaper, we saved a piece of every layer to frame and display someday. • Now, thanks to @sandbergwallpaper, we’ve brought a little of that timeless charm back into our home while adding our own chapter to its story. • #sandbergwallpaper #wallpaper #reno

I definitely was not expecting to see pet stains or the circle stains on the floor. Now I can’t decide if we should go ahead and seal them as is or cover the original hardwood and go a different route. • #hardwoodflooring #renovation #floor #hardwood

Layers and layers of paint, hours of scraping, and a whole lot of patience. 😅 Definitely not an easy job, but I have a feeling it’s going to be so worth it. I can’t wait to see these finished. • #paintstripper #paintremoval #leadpaint #restoration

Layers of paint may have covered the details, but they could never hide the character. I can’t wait to restore this beautiful original Eastlake hardware and let it shine again. #oldhouse #oldhouserestoration #oldcharm

A lot of hard work goes into filling these shelves every summer, but there’s no better feeling than having a cellar full of homegrown food to feed our family all year long. • #canning #canningandpreserving #rootcellar #cellar

The first day of fall calls for reviving that sourdough starter that’s been hiding in the back of the fridge all summer. A little flour, water, and patience, and we’ll be back to baking all the sourdough things in no time! #sourdough #fallbaking #sourdoughstarter

Fresh milled flour pumpkin bars with cream cheese caramel frosting. Soft, perfectly spiced, and one of my favorite pumpkin recipes! • #freshmilledflour #pumpkin #pumpkinrecipes #fallbaking

Our cellar is probably one of the best things about our farmhouse. It is so useful and helps keep all of our home canned food organized. So thankful for it! ❤️ • #cellar #cannedfood #homestead #cellars
