Try Organizing by Sequence Instead of Category
Your house doesn’t have to be organized like a store. If leaving home requires keys + wallet + badge + headphones, maybe they belong together. If bedtime requires water + charger + book + lip balm, maybe that is a category. Prospective memory is remembering something you intend to do later

Your Home Can Remember Things for Your ADHD Brain
What if the solution isn’t trying harder to remember? Cognitive offloading means using things outside your brain to carry some of the remembering for you. Think: visual timer → holds the time drop basket → holds the stopping point bedside caddy → keeps what you need where you need it roll

Neurodivergent home can signal novelty and safety, which does yours signal more
A neurodivergent home doesn’t have to be “calming” all the time. Some combinations can feel novel, energizing, playful, alerting. Others can feel familiar, grounding, comforting, soothing. And neither one is automatically better. For an ADHD or autistic brain, the useful question may be

The Neurodivergent Home Hack I Wish I Learned Earlier
One of the simplest ways I’ve started designing differently as a neurodivergent interior designer: Notice why you keep getting back up. I spend hours in my favorite outdoor spot, but my phone kept dying there. For the longest time, I treated getting up to find my charger as normal. Then I

What if the clutter isn’t the problem — what if it’s the clue to organization? 👀
I’m a neurodivergent interior designer, and one of the biggest shifts in how I design is paying attention to where life is already happening. If clothes always land beside the bed, maybe the solution isn’t “try harder” — maybe the room needs a better landing place there. Your home should support y

Sensory-friendly design does not have to mean less color or less personality
For a lot of neurodivergent people, the bigger question is: Can I control the stimulation around me? Can I dim the lights? Block the sun? Turn the sound off? Hide visual clutter when I need to? Move into a quieter corner? Retreat completely? Because some of us genuinely love rich sens

What if your home wasn’t designed around what each room is supposed to be
—but around what your brain actually needs? 🏡🧠 Research on autistic adults has found that sensory experience, spatial arrangement, routines, socialization and control over the home environment can meaningfully shape daily life. Research involving women with ADHD has also looked at the home as

How I got approved with 490 credit score
Last year I made this video sharing how I got into my townhouse and it helped so many people I got comments over the years sharing that people got into rentals with my health so I wanted to boost the sound to help anybody trying to get somewhere new in life. #futureapartment #apartment #badcre

P/3 Designing my boyfriends apartment while he’s out of town
He will be here soon, and I am just so excited that I can make him feel more cozy and more happy in his home. Did you know that your homes appearance can affect self-confidence and self trust? And the materials in your environment can affect your nervous system. This is how I love through design be

When we love each others inner child
It’s incredible how safe we make each other feel and how important it is that we cater to each other’s inner childs needs. If I just need to be held, I am held if he wants someone to hold the back of his head and tell him he’s doing a great job I will do that. The inner child in us sees clearly why

What rhythm in design looks like
I always compare rhythm in design exactly like it appears in music. If a shape or color or pattern occurs over and over it feels intentional just like a beat creating rhythms in a song. But if there are scarce moments of design that are low impact that don’t repeat it can make a space feel offbeat
