... Read moreFrom my experience working in dermatology, I've seen firsthand how crucial proper safety measures are when performing laser resurfacing. The most basic but often overlooked step is ensuring complete removal of makeup before treatment, as any residual product can cause unexpected reactions or infections. Additionally, protecting the patient's eyes is non-negotiable—using appropriate eye shields safeguards the delicate eye area and eyelashes from accidental laser exposure. Proper cleaning of the treatment area reduces the risk of contact infections and enhances laser effectiveness. Neglecting this step can lead to unwanted complications such as irritation, prolonged healing, or even infection. It’s vital to also instruct patients clearly about post-procedure care to minimize side effects. Overall, operating CO2 lasers responsibly requires adherence to safety protocols learned during entry-level training. Ignoring these precautions not only jeopardizes patient health but can also result in lasting damage. I always stress the importance of patient and practitioner safety to colleagues and anyone considering laser treatments—never skip these foundational steps for a successful and safe outcome.

✨ Laser hair removal isn’t permanent — it’s more accurately called laser hair reduction. You won’t eliminate every hair, but you can reduce the number, thickness, and density...over time. Why? Hair grows in 3 cycles, and the laser only works best on the active (anagen) phase — which is just 10–2

Hello my Lemon8 family!! 2 weeks ago I did my laser session. And just 2 weeks later the growth is significantly less. Most of the hairs fell off after exfoliating this morning and I couldn’t be happier. If you are thinking about getting laser hair removal, I recommend 100%. #laserhairrem

Does at-home laser hair removal work? Short answer, yes. I’ve used @Tría Laser for about a year now and I’ve seen great results. Personally, I can’t imagine doing large areas like legs, arms, back, etc because the tip of smaller than what is used in office, but it technically CAN be done.

My bf shamed me over having my hair removed
He recently asked me how l'm always completely hairless. I told him honestly that I did full body laser hair removal for nearly two years. I got this done when I was 15 to 17. He got weird and literally called me a 'sl*t' for it. I was shocked and I'm not sure how to feel or if I sh
