toilet tour time!! I've partnered with @Who Gives A Crap x @Parks Project ( #ad ) to share how every roll of their toilet paper helps protect outdoor spaces I love and also give you some insight on what my bathroom set up has been for the last 2.5 years on the road. A big reason WHY I have a sma

Oregon Coast Road Trip
roadtrips are my love language (photos taken with my OM SYSTEM OM-5 Mark II from my partner @OM SYSTEM ) Hunter’s mom is caravanning with us (from Minnesota!!) and hasn't been to the Oregon coast before so we're getting to play tourist here and revisit some of my favorite spots. I've been do

running from wildfires has become a very normal and unfortunate part of living on the road. It puts you up close with the tragedy of it all, but it also makes me really thankful that my home is mobile (when it decides to start). Really thinking about all the folks that have had to evacuate this

my love/hate relationship with living on the road
Short answer: yes, it is fun…but only if I’m in a good mood, not hungry or tired HA (and also using @onX Offroad to help me feel confident while exploring) There can be a lot of frustrations that come with finding camping. Especially when you’re doing it to find “home” for the night or week.

bits and bobs of my slightly chaotic van tour I’ve put this off for 2.5 years. Oops. Filming this by myself was a bit challenging. I think I needed a wider lens. Oh well. But it’s up on yoo toob if you’re interested. I’ll eventually make a walkthrough version to post here but it might take

my factory reset is a cold dip in water outdoors ✨ it is funny how excited I get when there’s a water source nearby the place I’m camping. It’s ALMOST like having a house with a shower haha. But really it does a LOT in the summer when it’s hard to cool down and makes van life bearable when i

girls weekend on Orcas Island
(all photos taken with my OM SYSTEM OM-5 Mark II from my partner @OM SYSTEM ) ✨ I can't believe this was my first time visiting one of the San Juan Islands in Washington. I lived in Seattle for 3 years and somehow never made it and I WAS MISSING OUT. spending one night here had me questioning

A personal message to my hater Barbara haha I've teamed up with my partner @HOVERAir Official self flying camera again to show that solo filming CAN be easy with the right tools. I ditched my tripod for the day to see if my HOVERAir ProMax could step up to the plate and the results have me fe

#ad Find me outside all summer with @BAND-AID(R) Brand adventuring while anxious for many many years now and part of how I manage this is being very prepared. A huge part of that is my first aid kit. I've been termed "camp mom" several times on trips because of how extensive my kit is and

#ad Things I've learned the hard way on my adventures with @BAND-AID(R) Brand Maybe you already know all of these or maybe you'll learn something from my mistakes haha. (that will make me feel like those "mistakes" were worth it) • Take the batteries out of your headlamp when storing it.

I sure do love green. not to knock the clean girl aesthetic because wow would I love to achieve that one day haha. The polished, put together, yet effortless look is a BIT challenging living on the road so I’m embracing more of a … feral yet whimsical girl vibe for this summer. It is fun

Live and learn right?
I like to call these character building moments for myself. This is also a very short list of many many "mistakes" and learning moments. Most of these were incredibly humbling where you kind of have to just laugh. Or alternate between crying and laughing hahah Van life sure has a way of keepi

8 things that surprised me with Van Life
did any of these surprise you? 1. Van life CAN be so expensive. And it really just depends on how fast you’re traveling and WHERE. But it’s definitely not saving me as much money as I THOUGHT it would when I first hit the road. And if you have continuous repairs, it basically ends up becoming th

Life on my thrifted 2000s digi cam in NorCal
10 days without a shower isn’t as bad when you have these incredible rivers and alpine lakes to hang out in. Northern California is SO special. It has always felt like it has all the little bits and pieces of places I love. Tall lush forests like the PNW, mountains, drier climate with plenty of

My reasons as a 35 year old
Emphasis on YET because finding a home base is absolutely the goal. There’s just no sense of urgency and therefore I will continue putting it off haha. But it is something I’m forced to think about a lot as a 35 year old because I’m absolutely not in the norm for living in a van at this age.

documenting "home" with my personal film crew and partner @HOVERAir Official self flying camera it has been so much fun to accumulate all of these memories of the places I get to call home. Drones are so intimidating to me, but this one is different. The HOVERAir X1 Pro Max is simply selecti

not me trying to romanticize showering with a garden hose haha. I've teamed up with my partner @OM SYSTEM once again to share a bit about how I solo film my life. and thank goodness the OM-5 Mark II is weather resistant for this one! I think the key to filming life cinematically is having a v

backpacking the Eastern Sierras
The camera set up I'd bring backpacking again and again with my partner @OM SYSTEM I've been using this compact system for 6 months now and am continually impressed by what the OM-5 Mark II can do. Would you believe that most of these shots are just from the auto settings?? This M.Zuiko 12-45mm
