How to get a snatched back 🏋🏾♀️✨
These two pictures are a paradox to me. On the top right the picture was taken to send to MIA Aesthetics for lipo. On the bottom right the picture was taken to track my progress from working out. I put in that WORK for my back. I told myself that (there is nothing wrong with surgery) I had to try; so I did. Built this baby BRICK-BY-BRICK. Built that house stick-by-stick. This is foundation nation over here with me. Continuing in my body recomp journey, I decided to snatch my back to begin carving the shape I’m starting to see more of.
I also wanted to stress a few diet points:
1. I prioritize protein. It helps preserve and support lean muscle while boosting metabolism. I eat about 20-40g of protein a meal (chicken, eggs, beef, fish).
2. *breathes in* No. More. soda. Drop it. Period. Dropping soda just for a week you will see a difference. Replace it with flavored water, probiotic drinks, or tea.
3. WATER. Drink half of your body weight in water. I weigh 136. I drink about 70oz of water a day. This helps you control your waistline.
4. Don’t miss fats. Your body needs healthy fats. That’s the key. HEALTHY fats. Avocado, nuts, chia seeds, and olive oil.
5. Portion your food. If you don’t want to go on a strict all-or-nothing diet, then just portion your food.
• A palm of protein
• A cupped hand of carbs
• A fist of veggies
• A thumb of fats
Portioning can make a significant difference to kickstart your health journey. Especially if you’re replacing unhealthy foods with healthier, natural foods.
