Ume Sushi Prix Fixe in Brooklyn

Ume Japanese Restaurant

... Read moreHey sushi lovers! I recently had the most incredible dining experience at Ume Sushi in Brooklyn, and I just had to share it with everyone. If you're searching for an authentic and high-quality sushi spot, this place should definitely be on your radar. I walked in hoping for a great meal, and Ume absolutely exceeded my expectations! What really caught my eye was their fantastic prix fixe menu. It’s such a clever way to sample a variety of their best offerings without having to agonize over choices. I love when restaurants offer a curated experience like that – it feels like a delightful journey through their culinary highlights. It’s perfect for a special occasion or just a treat-yourself kind of night, offering exceptional value for such a premium experience. Beyond the prix fixe, their a la carte selection is absolutely mind-blowing. I was particularly impressed by the sheer variety and the undeniable freshness of every single piece. For instance, they offer beautiful cuts like the rich salmon, with options like a "salmon bout" for around $7, and the more premium king salmon for about $13. If you're a fan of tuna, you're in for an absolute treat with their akami (lean tuna), priced at about $12, the melt-in-your-mouth chu toro for $15, and the utterly decadent o toro which is just a couple of dollars more for a truly luxurious bite. Seriously, the different textures and flavors from these tuna selections alone are worth the visit. But it doesn't stop there! Their menu also features exquisite options like delicate hotate (scallop) for about $7-$12, bursting kura (salmon roe) around $7-$13, and the subtly flavored madai (sea bream) also in the $7-$13 range. I also spotted the sweet, tender botan ebi (sweet shrimp), another premium choice. It's clear they source top-notch ingredients, making every bite a small moment of bliss. The pricing, from what I could gather, offers fantastic value, especially for the caliber of fish you're getting. I also noticed they have Ume sake on the menu, which would perfectly complement any sushi feast. There's nothing quite like pairing fresh sushi with a crisp, refreshing sake to elevate the whole dining experience. It really ties everything together. For those cozy nights in, I know many of you, like me, often wonder about sushi delivery options. Good news! From my experience, Ume Sushi often has reliable delivery services, allowing you to enjoy their exquisite menu from the comfort of your home. Imagine a perfect night in with their incredible salmon, luscious scallop, or even some of that amazing lean tuna delivered right to your door. It’s definitely something I'll be keeping in mind for my next sushi craving when I don't feel like heading out. Whether you're looking for an elegant dine-in experience with their prix fixe menu or planning a delightful evening with their diverse a la carte selections, Ume Sushi in Brooklyn truly delivers on quality and taste. The variety, the freshness, and the overall exceptional experience make it a standout for sushi lovers. I highly recommend checking them out – your taste buds will definitely thank you!
