ถ้าคุณกำลังเล็ง “งาน DevOps Engineer” เพราะได้ยินว่าเงินเดือนดี (บางที่เริ่มแตะ 70,000) สิ่งที่อยากให้เช็กก่อนคือ DevOps ไม่ใช่แค่คน “กด deploy” แต่เป็นคนที่ทำให้การพัฒนาซอฟต์แวร์ลื่นไหลขึ้น ตั้งแต่ PLAN/BUILD/TEST/RELEASE ไปจนถึง OPERATE/MONITOR โดยเป้าหมายคือทำงานซ้ำๆให้เป็น Automation ลดความผิดพลาด และทำให้ระบบ scale ได้เร็วขึ้น DevOps Engineer ทำอะไรในชีวิตจริง? - ทำ CI/CD pipeline (เช่น build → test → deploy อัตโนมัติ) ลดการ deploy แบบ manual - ดูแลการ deploy และ infra บน Cloud (AWS เป็นที่เจอบ่อย) เช่น VPC, EC2/ECS/EKS, IAM, S3 - ทำ containerization ด้วย Docker และจัดการคลัสเตอร์ด้วย Kubernetes (เช่น apply/deploy/configmap) - ดู monitoring/alerting ให้ระบบรู้ทันปัญหา (เครื่องมือที่เจอบ่อยอย่าง Prometheus + Grafana) - ทำให้ระบบรองรับการขยาย (scaling) และแก้ปัญหาเดิมๆที่เกิดซ้ำบนเซิร์ฟเวอร์ เรื่อง “devops เงินเดือน” ทำไมถึงสูง? จากที่ผมเจอในสายงาน เหตุผลหลักคือความรับผิดชอบมันพาดหลายส่วนมาก ทั้ง dev + operation + cloud + automation และมักเกี่ยวกับระบบ production โดยตรง บริษัทเลยยอมจ่ายเพื่อคนที่ทำให้ deploy ได้ไวขึ้น ระบบล่มน้อยลง และทีมทำงานมีประสิทธิภาพขึ้น ถ้าอยากเริ่มเข้าสาย “งาน devops” ควรปูพื้นอะไรบ้าง (เรียงลำดับที่ผมว่าเวิร์ก) 1) พื้นฐาน Linux/Command line + Networking เบื้องต้น (สำคัญมากเวลาจับ server) 2) ภาษาเขียนสคริปต์/โปรแกรมมิ่ง (เช่น Python/Go ก็ได้) เพื่อทำ automation 3) แนวคิดระบบและ microservice: service แยกกันทำงานยังไง, config, dependency 4) Docker → Kubernetes: เริ่มจาก run container ให้เป็นก่อน แล้วค่อยไป orchestration 5) Cloud (AWS): เข้าใจการ deploy web application, security พื้นฐาน (IAM), และการออกแบบให้ปลอดภัย 6) Monitoring/Logging: ตั้ง dashboard, alert, และไล่ปัญหาจาก log ให้เป็นนิสัย ตำแหน่งต่อยอดหลังเรียน/ทำโปรเจกต์ได้ - Junior DevOps / Cloud Engineer / SRE (บางบริษัทแยกชัด) - Platform Engineer หรือ Infra Engineer (ถ้าเน้น Kubernetes/ระบบภายใน) ทริคเพิ่มโอกาสได้งานเร็ว (จากประสบการณ์ส่วนตัว) ทำโปรเจกต์เดโมให้เห็นภาพ เช่น สร้างเว็บเล็กๆ 1 ตัว แล้วทำ pipeline deploy ขึ้น AWS พร้อม Docker + Kubernetes และมี dashboard monitor (Prometheus/Grafana) แค่นี้เวลาไปสมัครงาน devops engineer จะคุยง่ายขึ้นมาก เพราะเขาเห็นของจริง ไม่ใช่แค่ทฤษฎี
