So we finally decided on the paint colors for our home! Highly recommend getting paint samples from Shopee for you to visualize how vibrant or dull the colors will be under sunlight. We ended up dropping one of the brown colors as it ended up looking really really bad - basically 💩. Stumbled upo

Shopping at Natural Signature @ Toppen, JB
Finding some wooden fittings or furniture for your house? We stopped by this quaint little shop at Toppen Shopping Mall and found some unique items! What caught our eye was also the Tatami Concept for living/dining spaces which also kinda suited the theme we going for. Huge downside is that it

Tea Bone Zen Mind (Tea Ceremony Leaves)
So when scouting around places for loose leaf tea leaves, I stumbled upon this place. It was highly recommended and after going there on a Saturday afternoon for a tea tasting appointment, we definitely found out why! Let me just warn people, it’ll be a short adventure just to get to the place.

Tile Shopping at Hafary Eunos
As a newbie, hearing about the many options available for tiles made me weary of decision fatigue. As excited as I became to take a look, we decided to go there with our ID - and he indeed made our experience a lot more pleasant. Tbh I was a bit overwhelmed once I entered the space, the many rows a

Sanitary Shopping at Lucky Khoon (Tradehub 21)
We decided to head here for the Hansgrohe Anniversary Sale. I was honestly considering going to JB for shopping too, but due to our busy schedules and simply just for convenience, we decided to pay extra to just get it in SG and at a one-stop store. There was also a spin the wheel after hitting min

Shopping at Ruma JB!
We were mainly looking for chairs at Ruma (Paradigm Mall) 10/10 would recommend! Rating 🔥/⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐: The place looked unassumingly small at first glance but after we stepped in we were definitely wrong. There was a whole other section inside too with a clearance sale area too! These were the prices

Visit to Mi Kuang Furniture (Johor Bahru)
So we went to JB to hunt for bedside tables and dining chairs and found our dream chair! It’s wide and deep enough for us to seat cross-legged which we sometimes do. The prices were slightly more expensive than places like Ruma or Maju Home ($658 ringgit for our chair), but it was also of better qu

Finding an Interior Designer
So after going for some renovation fairs; Qanvast Hangout & Home by Hitched, we had 3 IDs in mind. Side Note: I really preferred Home by Hitched, as they didnt rush us and we could take our time to discuss in between IDs. We then had to compare the quotes and most importantly the chemistry we h
