apps I LOVE for UGC

I circled the ones that I’ve gotten deals on ✨

Upwork is my #1 - I’ve gotten the most deals on there. The only downside is that you have to use connects to apply for jobs and you run out super quick. To get more you either have to pay or upgrade for $15/month and you get 80 connects a month.

JoinBrands is my #2 - I’ve gotten about 3-4 collabs on there. It’s super easy to navigate. But you have to get certifications to apply for certain jobs. You upload photos/videos for each category to get certifications then after so many jobs you complete you level up. Some deals are free product + pay, others are reimbursement.

Billo is my #3 - I’ve gotten one deal so far. Most of the collabs are $30-$40 which isn’t bad since they’re usually only 15 second videos that are needed.

... Read moreBeyond just knowing which apps offer UGC deals, truly mastering them is key to a steady stream of collaborations! I've learned a lot navigating these platforms, and I want to share some practical tips for success. Upwork: Smart Strategies for Connects & Proposals Upwork can feel like a connect-sink, but it’s where I've landed some fantastic long-term clients. My top advice for the Upwork app (whether on iPhone or desktop) is to be highly selective. Don't waste connects on jobs that aren't a perfect fit. When you find a project that genuinely aligns with your skills, customize your proposal! A generic message won't cut it. Highlight specific past work or unique ideas that address the brand's needs. Think of your proposal as a mini-portfolio. Also, optimizing your profile for a specific UGC niche (like beauty or tech) makes you more appealing to targeted brands. Always proofread thoroughly, especially when using the Upwork iPhone app, to avoid any overlooked errors. JoinBrands: Unlocking Opportunities with Certifications JoinBrands is incredibly user-friendly, but those certifications are your gateway to better gigs. My tip? Invest time in them. Upload your best, high-quality photos and videos for each category. These aren't just checkboxes; they're your initial showcase to brands. The stronger your certification media, the higher your chances of approval for premium jobs. Once you start getting collabs on the JoinBrands creator app, focus on delivering excellent results and maintaining clear communication. This helps you level up faster, unlocking even more lucrative opportunities and direct invitations from brands. Timely delivery and a positive attitude go a long way here. Billo: Crafting Engaging 15-Second Videos Billo is fantastic for quick, impactful content, especially those 15-second videos. When using the Billo Creator app, always choose projects for brands you genuinely connect with – authenticity is key, even in short formats. Before recording, think about the brand's audience and what message resonates. Don't just follow a script; embody the product's benefits naturally. Experiment with lighting and angles, and always prioritize clear audio. While the Billo creator dashboard is straightforward, these small production details ensure your videos stand out, increasing your acceptance rate and potential for bonuses. Expanding Your Horizon: Insense, Fiverr, and LinkedIn While Upwork, JoinBrands, and Billo are my go-to's, exploring other platforms can broaden your opportunities. Insense is a popular choice for campaign-based UGC work, so keep an eye out if their brand partners align with your niche. For those looking for project-based gigs or just starting, Fiverr allows you to create specific UGC service offerings that clients can purchase. Don't overlook LinkedIn either! Many agencies and brands actively recruit UGC creators there. A well-optimized LinkedIn profile showcasing your portfolio can lead to direct collaboration offers. Diversifying your platforms helps create a more stable and exciting UGC journey!
