Apps I use for UGC

I’ve only been doing UGC for about 2 months now! Showing up everyday and working hard towards my first deal!🙌🏻🙌🏻

I use all of these apps daily!

... Read moreHey fellow creators! Since I'm just a couple of months into my UGC journey, I totally get how overwhelming it can be to figure out which tools are actually worth your time. The original post briefly mentioned some of the apps I'm loving, but I wanted to dive a bit deeper into why these apps are in my daily rotation and how they've helped me start landing those first deals! One of the biggest game-changers for me has been JoinBrands. It's super user-friendly, and I've found it’s a fantastic entry point for beginners. You can apply for various campaigns, and while the pay might not always be sky-high, it's brilliant for building your portfolio and getting comfortable with brand briefs. I check their dashboard daily for new opportunities. Another platform that's been on my radar, and where I've seen success, is Billo Creator. The interface is clean, and they often have quick turnaround projects. It’s a great way to hone your video creation skills because many of their briefs are video-focused. I’d recommend exploring their app to see the types of brands they work with. Then there’s Fiverr and Upwork. These aren't exclusively UGC platforms, but they are goldmines for finding direct clients. Setting up a strong profile that showcases your UGC portfolio is key here. I've been experimenting with different gig offerings on Fiverr, from unboxing videos to product demos, and it’s been interesting to see what resonates. It takes a bit more proactive outreach, but the potential for higher-paying, long-term clients is definitely there. For more curated brand collaborations, I've been checking out The Right Fit and TRIBE. These often have higher requirements, but the brands are usually well-established. It’s good to have these on your radar as you gain more experience and build a solid portfolio. SHOUT is another one listed in my toolkit, and I find it useful for quick, authentic content opportunities, often tied to social media trends. Beyond direct brand platforms, don’t underestimate community apps! Reddit has tons of subreddits dedicated to marketing, social media, and even UGC itself. It’s a great place to learn, ask questions, and sometimes even find leads from brands looking for creators. And for product reviews that can lead to deeper collaborations, Influenster is fantastic. While not directly a UGC deal platform, getting products to review can be a stepping stone to showing brands your ability to create honest, engaging content. Lastly, on the content creation side, while I didn't list specific editing apps in the original post (the OCR mentioned "Kale" which I'm still exploring if it's for editing!), I find that having a solid understanding of basic video and photo editing is crucial. I personally use CapCut and Canva a lot. The key is to deliver high-quality content that aligns with the brand's aesthetic. My biggest tip for anyone starting out? Stay consistent, keep learning, and don't be afraid to apply for things that feel a little out of your comfort zone. Every application, every piece of content you create, is a step forward. Good luck on your UGC journey!
