京都市役所前あたりで「イタリアンorフレンチ、どっちにしよう？」って迷うことが多いんですが、野菜をしっかり食べたい日にはフレンチのコースが意外と大当たりでした。私が行ったRestaurant 信さんは、京都府産の朝採り無農薬野菜がたっぷりで、“ちゃんと食べた感”が残るのがうれしいポイント。重たすぎないのに満足度が高くて、野菜ランチを探している人に刺さると思います。 京都市役所横のレストランを探す時、私は「アクセス」「雰囲気」「予約の必要性」を先にチェックします。ここは京阪・神宮丸太町駅から徒歩圏内で、京都市役所前からも行きやすい立地。席数は多くない印象で、平日ランチでも満席になりやすいので、予定が決まったら早めに予約するのが安心です。飛び込みだと入れないこともありました。 お料理は、写真映えだけじゃなく味の印象が強いタイプ。アミューズの“ハンバーガー風”から始まってテンションが上がるし、はまぐりのエスプーマのカクテル仕立ては貝の旨みがしっかり。さらにビネグレットソースが色鮮やかで、野菜の使い方が丁寧だなと感じました。園部産野菜のポタージュは豆乳フランとの二重奏で、さつま芋の甘みがほっこり系。魚料理（ヒラメとムール貝、イカ墨と飯蛸のムース）は見た目のインパクトがあるのに食べやすくて、苦手意識がある人でも挑戦しやすいと思います。 「京都市役所 イタリアン」で検索して出てくるお店と比べても、ここはドレスコードが厳しくなく、お箸も用意してくれるので気負わず行けます。記念日ディナーにも使えるけど、ランチでコースを楽しむのもおすすめ。デザートはオレンジソースをかけたらカヌレが出現する演出があって、最後まで楽しかったです。 周辺にはブション系のランチやホテルのグリルなど選択肢も多いので、「今日は野菜多めで、落ち着いてコースを食べたい」日にレストラン信さんを候補に入れると失敗しにくいはず。私は次は季節が変わった頃に、また“京野菜メインの日”でリピしたいと思っています。
