It's easy to feel overwhelmed, especially when facing what I call 'self tan blindness'—not seeing your own needs clearly amid the chaos. Cooking, for example, can serve as both a necessity and a therapeutic activity. Calling myself 'chef' in the midst of running a household and managing time lines has helped me reclaim small moments of joy. I've found that simple, manageable recipes reduce stress and provide a comforting structure to the day. Parenting as a 'boy mom' has its unique challenges and joys, and this identity deeply influences how I approach mental health and daily routines. Recognizing when to seek help, setting boundaries, and allowing time for self-care are fundamental practices I've developed over time.
