A Full-Body Workout Before the Kids Need Me Again 😅💪🏾
I tested this whole workout today, and whew! It worked my entire body! 🤣💪🏾
Slides 2 and 3 make one round. Complete two rounds total, with the bike-free option on the last slide if you need it. It takes about 30 minutes, depending on your pace and breaks.
When I’m not in the mood, I turn on my favorite music, wear something cute I can move in, and use my standing mirror. Feel free to change the exercise order while completing the sets and rounds. Make it yours! 🥰
As a busy mom myself, finding time to stay fit can be challenging. What I love about this 30-minute full-body workout is its flexibility and completeness. It covers strength moves like bicep curls and overhead arm raises, combined with cardio bursts such as step-ups, cycling, or jump rope. The workout structure with two rounds makes it easy to adjust based on how I feel that day—sometimes I replace burpees with a cardio move I prefer, which keeps things fun and reduces any dread. I also found that pairing the workout with my favorite upbeat music and dressing comfortably really boosts my motivation. Using a standing mirror helps me check my form, which is key to effective training and injury prevention. The option for a bike or a swap to other cardio moves ensures I never miss a beat, even on days when the bike isn’t available or I want a change. Taking short breaks, like the 45-second water breaks and 1-minute rest, helps me maintain energy throughout without burning out. In my experience, workouts that acknowledge the unpredictability of mom life—offering options and modifications—are the most sustainable. This routine strikes that balance well, letting you make it your own while still hitting all major muscle groups and cardio. Give it a try before the kids need you again; you’ll feel accomplished and energized!
