Want Longer Nails? Pt. 3 🫶🏽
This wasn’t how this video was intended to go but… 🤷🏽‍♀️😂 Part 3: PATIENCE. You can oil them, protect them, treat them, repair them, and do everything “right”… but you still cannot rush growth. Breaks happen. Repairs fail. Weak spots have to grow out. Sometimes progress feels slow. That

Patience In Real Time 😂🐶
Sometimes the lesson shows up before the lesson. Louis wants the ball in my hand, but I need him to go get the one I already threw. He wants what he wants… NOW. 😭 Sound familiar? Consider this your little prelude to Part 3: PATIENCE of Want Longer Nails? 💅🏽 Because apparently Louis isn’t

Want Longer Nails? Pt. 2 🌸
You do not need a perfect nail routine. You need one you’ll actually stick to. 💅🏽 Part 2 of 3: CONSISTENCY. Oiling once in a while, using a treatment for a few days, or protecting your nails only when you remember is not going to give you the same results as steady care. Your routine can b

Want Longer Nails? Pt. 1 ✨
Everybody wants the product list… but the products won’t save you if the foundation isn’t there. 👀💅🏽 Part 1 of 3: CONSCIOUSNESS. Long natural nails require you to move differently, pay attention to what your nails have been through, and recognize when they’re telling you something. This is

How often should you oil your nails? 👀💅🏽
How often should you oil your nails? 👀💅🏽 For me, at minimum, it’s nightly… but realistically, I’m oiling all through the day most days. Lots of hand washing? Cleaning? Showering? Acetone? Nail maintenance? Oil them again. 😂 Consistency matters more than absolutely drowning your fingerti

File Placement Matters 🫧
Filing looks simple… but ONE wrong swipe is all you need for your sidewall to completely disappear 😭 & trust me, I’m still learning too. That one wrong swipe has gotten me more times than I can count. 🥲 Especially with curled nails like mine, file placement matters just as much as how you

Haters will say it’s an overlay 😏
Baaabbbbyyyyyyy… this is HOMEGROWN LENGTH. 🌱💅🏽 No tips. No extensions. Just patience, protection, repairs, and me fighting for every damn micro millimeter like it owe me 😭 Natural nail gang, STAND UP. 😂🫡 #NaturalNails #LongNaturalNails #NailGrowth #HealthyNails #NailCare

Monday reset 💅🏽✨
9 days. 3 layers of polish. Time to take it ALL down, clean everything up, and start fresh 🤗 A little filing. A little buffing. A fresh coat… and a few things I noticed along the way. 👀 I got a few lessons out of this one session, so we’ve got plenty to get into this week to come. 😏💅🏽 #Na

5 Days: 5 Repairs ✨
Day 5 of 5 repairs 💅🏽 This repair started on June 21st… 71 days ago. 🥹 And just like that… we made it through all 5. Different breaks. Different repairs. Different timelines. But the same goal every single time: protect the damage, maintain what I can, and let the natural nail keep growing

5 Days: 5 Repairs ✨
Day 4 of 5 repairs 💅🏽 This repair started on June 26th… 65 days ago. 🥹 And THIS is the part people don’t always see when I say I’d rather repair than cut. The goal isn’t to keep a repair forever. The goal is to protect the damaged area, maintain the length, and give my natural nail time to

5 Days: 5 Repairs ✨
Day 3 of 5 repairs 💅🏽 This one started on June 13th… 77 days ago. 😮‍💨 And THIS is why I keep saying a repair isn’t just about saving the length for today. 👀 It’s about protecting that damaged area long enough for it to keep traveling down the nail until we can finally file it OFF. Patience

5 Repairs: 5 Days ✨
Day 2 of 5 repairs 💅🏽 This repair started on July 5th and today makes 54 days. 😮‍💨 No magic. No overnight fix. Just patience, protection, maintenance… and letting the nail grow OUT instead of cutting everything off. 👀 This is exactly why I repair when I can. 54 days later and we’re stil

5 Repairs: 5 Days ✨
22 days later. 🥹 This is EXACTLY why I repair instead of immediately cutting everything down. Not because I expect the repair to last forever… but because every day it holds gives my natural nail more time to grow underneath it. From full detachment to THIS in 22 days?! 😭 Day 1 of 5 Day

The box says WHAT?! 😂
So apparently Sally Hansen Maximum Growth says daily or every other day on the box… I don’t remember which 🤔 but the bottle definitely says use alone or as a base coat. 👀 Sounds contradictory until you think about what regular polish goes through every day. Washing your hands, showering, cleanin

Protect The Repair… Always ✨
The repair is only part of the job. 👏🏽 Once I’m finished rebuilding and reinforcing the damaged areas, I still want to protect the repair and the natural nail underneath it. For me, that means going in with Sally Hansen Maximum Growth as a temporary protective layer while my nails recover bef

Fiberglass Tips 🥰
Same fiberglass. Different job. 👀 These tears were sitting too far into the free edge for me to love a small patch, but they also didn’t need a full fiberglass overlay. So we met in the middle: fiberglass tips. 💅🏽 That’s the thing about nail repairs… there is no one-size-fits-all answer. E

Full Break: Removal + Reattachment
A full break needs a little different approach. 👀 Before I can even think about reinforcing this nail again, the old repair has to come OFF and both pieces need to be completely clean. Same rule as always: patience over force. Remove what’s ready, rewrap what isn’t, clean everything thoroughl

Bad Removal = Damaged Nails
Oh to solely blame the gel, acrylic, or enhancement is easy 😂… but sometimes the product isn’t what damaged your nails. The removal did. 👀 Ripping, peeling, over-filing, or forcing product off can undo weeks of healthy growth in minutes. My rule? Remove what’s ready and rewrap what isn’t.

Why You Protect A Nail Repair
Sometimes the best nail lessons come from the times you DON’T follow your normal routine. 😭 I usually keep polish over my repairs to help protect them, but after getting sick, these babies were left exposed for a little over two weeks. And honestly? They held on as best they could. 😂 One n
