💡First Semester? What I wish I Knew 🩺
This post is geared towards more freshman but hopefully everyone can benefit a bit from these study tips ✨
1. Your Syllabus is the Key 🔑 to Doing Well in Your Classes - it gives you all the important information you need to know like deadlines, office hours, bonus opportunities etc. You should go through this with a fine tooth comb so you know all the ins and outs of the class before you hit a hang-up or snag.
2. Planners are Life Saving to keep track of all dates - this is where you put all the important info you learn from the syllabus and keep it in one place that’s easy to get to. Also add in work, and personal scheduling conflicts to more effectively block out time for assignments. This is your way to control the assignments and the time allotted to them.
3. You should ask questions even. If you feel like they are dumb or you aren’t sure if it’s a “valid” question. I promise promise that someone else is having the same internal question and they are waiting for someone to ask it as well. It’s better to know and not need it than not ask and see it show up on a test later.
We got this!! ✨ Your next semester is going to be great 👍

As soon as I get the syllabus I usually put it in google calendar the same day so I don’t forget later. Setting reminders for them also helps with deadlines!!
