Moms, You can’t control your child’s future
But you can control your own actions and influence. You can model good character. You can guide them to become resilient. Not in outcomes, but in character. I used to stress so much over wanting them to become happy, productive adults. But I really can’t control that. What I can control is givin

Not pessimism. Just parenting with Stoic foresight
It’s not negativity. It’s preemptive emotional armor. Picture your kid being an absolute menace and yourself responding like a Zen bouncer (basically, boundaries + warmth). When you rehearse the overwhelm, the real thing barely registers. #StoicParenting #MomLife #ParentingTips #

Your kids aren’t responsible for others’ feelings
Teach this to your kids as early as possible... Stoics teach that each person has control (and therefore responsibility) over a small amount of their world. It’s always only; their thoughts and their choices. If that’s true... your grumpy aunt is also in control of her own thoughts and choices.

Unpopular opinion: ‘all feelings R valid’ is toxic
Your Kids Have Power Over Their Feelings (and Actions!) 💪 This "all feelings are welcome" narrative in conscious/gentle parenting often misses a critical piece: Feelings and behaviors are not the same, and your child has power over both! The common advice: "I understand you're
