My study essentials 🤍
Hi! Just sharing my study essentials. I use these consistently on my study sessions.
I just also want to share my ideal study environment:
1. Tidy desk -- not *aesthetic*, but tidy. I don't like seeing clutter when I want to focus, so I tidy up before each study session.
2. Warm Lights / Natural Light -- for some reason, cool lights doesn't work for me. I can't focus that much and I feel like it's too harsh (??)
3. Lofi music / white noise / ambient sounds -- it helps me focus and puts me in the mood. idk, i might have unintentionally conditioned myself to be productive when I hear these sounds. If you have the time to check my previous post about study playlists, I shared some useful info on why lofi music seems to work.
4. Room temperature -- I hate being cold because I feel lazier and just makes me want to cozy up in my bed with blankets, so I try to keep it warm as much as possible.
5. Stay hydrated + some mint candies -- want to immediately wake up when you feel sleepy but you don't want to drink coffee? try having some mint candy and follow up with ice cold water after. It always wakes me up hehe.

There are various playlists available online tailored for studying. 7. **Hydration and Snacks**: Keep water and healthy snacks handy. Staying hydrated is crucial for cognitive functioning, and light snacks can provide the necessary energy without causing sluggishness.
