Affordable Halal-certified Italian food in SG 🌟

This restaurant is known for serving classic Italian dishes at affordable price points. Their menu boasts a variety of Pasta, Rice/risotto dishes, as well as light bites for sharing where they put a twist to a couple of their dishes such as the 𝙈𝙚𝙚 𝙋𝙤𝙠 𝙬𝙞𝙩𝙝 𝘾𝙝𝙞𝙘𝙠𝙚𝙣 𝘾𝙝𝙪𝙣𝙠 & 𝙊𝙣𝙨𝙚𝙣 𝙀𝙜𝙜. The best thing is, they are 𝐇𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐥-𝐜𝐞𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐟𝐢𝐞𝐝 for our Muslim friends!

𖤐 𝑻𝒐𝒓𝒕𝒊𝒈𝒍𝒊𝒐𝒏𝒊 𝑺𝒑𝒊𝒄𝒚 𝑷𝒊𝒏𝒌 𝑺𝒂𝒖𝒄𝒆 & 𝑭𝒓𝒊𝒆𝒅 𝑬𝒈𝒈

Upon taking my first bite, I was pleasantly surprised at the flavours of this dish. They nailed the balance between the cream and tomato sauce, where there is a slight kick from the spice at the back of my throat. Each pasta is coated in the creamy sauce and topped with some cheese and a fried egg. The fact that this dish doesn’t have any form of meat still wows me as I enjoyed every bite of the food and even went back again within the same week.

For those who cannot take spice well, you may order this dish at your own risk. My friend who is not a lover of spicy food agreed that the dish smelled amazing but the spice was just not it for her.

𖤐 𝑻𝒐𝒓𝒕𝒊𝒈𝒍𝒊𝒐𝒏𝒊 𝑪𝒂𝒄𝒊𝒐 𝒆 𝑷𝒆𝒑𝒆 & 𝑭𝒓𝒊𝒆𝒅 𝑬𝒈𝒈

The base of this dish is made from butter, pepper and cheese. The ingredients may sound simple but there was depth in terms of flavours. Each tortiglioni pasta is evenly coated by the sauce and the flowy yolk added a touch of creaminess to the dish.

This is topped with crushed almonds and a generous dusting of freshly grated parmesan cheese which gives the dish a textural crunch and savoury finish.

𖤐 𝑻𝒓𝒖𝒇𝒇𝒍𝒆 𝑴𝒖𝒔𝒉𝒓𝒐𝒐𝒎 𝑹𝒊𝒔𝒐𝒕𝒕𝒐

This dish is also topped with some crushed almonds and even more sautéed mushrooms. While the earthy flavours were pronounced, I found the risotto to be slightly over cooked as the grains were mushy and no longer Al dente and not as creamy as what I would’ve expected from a risotto dish. For the price of $15.50++, I’d skip this and get their pastas.

𖤐 𝑪𝒂𝒖𝒍𝒊𝒇𝒍𝒐𝒘𝒆𝒓 𝑨𝒖 𝑮𝒓𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒏

Fresh cauliflowers cooked in a pool of cream sauce and topped with some melted cheese. While the appetiser sounded promising, it was rather one dimensional and I felt that more could be done with the sauce as it was extremely watery and salty.
