And for others, there’s more than one father figure in their lifetime. Some might have caused a lot of pain. Some might have left a positive impact. Some might have left both. I’ve definitely had those who have left harm, and I have had some who have impacted me for the better. #FathersDay

I still do believe trauma (however that looks) does play a part, and the correlation numbers are significant. But over the years I’ve come to understand why it will never be ‘proven’ at an academic/clinical level. More than happy for others to give their input - this is just my understanding so f

This also assumes person A is not being forced or coerced, has the ability to choose and knows different. There is always nuances - but at the end of the day, a victim is someone who has had their choices taken away by someone or something else. #trauma #healing
