An app for my fellow overthinkers 🧠

My brain has 100 tabs open at all times, and sometimes I just need to scream a thought into the void before I explode. But I hate burdening my friends, and journaling feels like a chore...

I stumbled upon this app called Ventie and it's basically designed for this exact problem.

It’s like a tree hole where your posts disappear from the public feed after 30 mins. It's super low-pressure. It's pretty new so it's not crowded, and you ONLY get a message if you both reply to each other, so no creeps.

Last night I just vented about something stupid and a stranger replied with "I feel this so much." It was... nice.

If you're an overthinker too, you might wanna check it out. Save this for when your brain gets loud.

... Read moreIf you often find yourself overwhelmed by endless thoughts, an app like Ventie can be a meaningful outlet to express what’s on your mind without feeling burdened or judged. The concept of an anonymous "tree hole" where posts disappear after 30 minutes helps create a temporary yet secure environment to vent. This time limit encourages honest expression and prevents lingering negativity or over-analysis. The app’s design also helps overthinkers by eliminating fear of unsolicited messages or creeps, since users only receive replies if both parties mutually engage. This ensures meaningful interactions and a safer community experience. From the OCR content, it’s clear that Ventie is fresh and not widely crowded yet, which means fewer distractions and a more intimate feel for those seeking comfort. The app offers you a quick and private way to "just type some shit and send it to anonymous," letting your thoughts out without needing a personal journal or trusted friends who you worry might be overwhelmed. Many users resonate with feeling tired of "being the strong friend" and struggling internally. Ventie caters exactly to this need—giving everyone a chance to be heard, even if by strangers who simply "feel this so much." Such connections, although anonymous, can feel genuinely supportive and comforting. In addition, because posts are ephemeral, freeing your mind regularly becomes easier without the pressure of keeping or reviewing past venting sessions. Whether it’s stress from daily life or racing thoughts late at night, apps like Ventie provide a digital sanctuary for mental well-being. If you’re someone who appreciates low-pressure sharing and values privacy, exploring Ventie could be very helpful. Saving this app for moments when your brain is “loud” might just give you that needed relief and connection to others quietly facing similar struggles.
