Self-care + Kindle time = perfection. 💆🏾‍♀️📚

Even at the spa, Keyshia (my Kindle) stays close! 😂📖 I just started Mia by Kimberly Brown, and I’m ready to see what kind of toxic mess Mia and Titan are about to bring us. 👀😂 Because apparently I can’t relax without knowing what fictional people are getting themselves into. 🤭 Spa day + a

A month full of five-star reads and new series! 📚✨

August was clearly a Kimberly Brown kind of month! 😂🤎 I had a lot of five-star reads this month, picked up some cute summer reads, and then found myself diving into two different series: The Dillinger Chronicles and She Ain’t Never Met Another One Like Me. Overall, August gave me some really

Two beaches. Two books. One very happy reader. 🏝️📚✨

Beach hopping in Curaçao with my girl Keyshia (aka my Kindle)! 🤎🌊 I had a TIME today! I finished Jaeda by Kimberly Brown and started The Summer Girlfriend by Kristina Forest while taking in some beautiful beach views. Good books, good friends, sunshine, and the Caribbean? Yeah… I’d call that

Nothing beats a day spent supporting Black creators. 🤎📚

Black Books Matter Fest was such an incredible experience! I loved seeing so many Black authors, artists, entrepreneurs, and creatives all in one place. From books and clothing to nail art and amazing food, there was something around every corner, and I was more than happy to support. Already

The aunties said, “Get dressed, we’re going to the vineyard!” 🍇🍷✨

The nieces understood the assignment! Between the beautiful views, good drinks, nonstop laughs, and quality family time, this was the perfect day out. Sometimes all you need is a little vineyard trip with your favorite people. 🤎 What’s your favorite winery or vineyard to visit? 🍷👇 #VineyardV

📚ARC Review: Count on Me by Leigh Carron ✨

I’m giving this one 4.5 ⭐️! 📚💕 Rayne is such a boss! 👏🏾 She stood firm in her confidence, determination, and ambition, refusing to let anyone or anything shake her. Watching her stay true to herself was one of my favorite parts of the book. ❤️ And DK? Whew! 🥹 He was the gentle giant Rayne nee

Books, butter, and blue crabs… the perfect combo. 🦀📚

Decided to make steamed crabs and season them with Smut & Smoke by @foodieswholovetoread—and it was such a fun way to combine two of my favorite things: books and food! If you’re a reader who also loves being in the kitchen, this seasoning is definitely worth checking out. #BookishLife

A slow reading month is still a reading month. 📚🩵

June looked a little different for me. School slowed my reading down, but I still finished two books that I really enjoyed! I also couldn’t resist adding a few more books to my collection (my TBR keeps growing 😅). I’m hoping to pick up the pace in July, but no matter what, I’m just happy to k

Every book lover needs to visit this bookstore 📚

While exploring Portland, Oregon, I found Powell’s City of Books, and it completely lived up to the hype. 📚 Three stories, endless shelves, and rooms that felt like a maze. I was in book heaven. I only bought a couple of books because I couldn’t fit everything I wanted in my suitcase 😂, but o

Signed books and free goodies? Count me in. 📚✨

Here’s everything I brought home from the 9th Annual Bronx Book Festival! One thing I loved was how many free books and activities they had for kids. My little cousin had the best time and left with books, pencil holders, and lots of cool goodies. 🤎 I also got my S.A. Cosby, Kennedy Ryan, Tif
