Why you’re not getting pregnant…

Why you’re not getting pregnant….

Despite doing so much.

Because you’re focusing on the wrong things.

A safe body and a fertile body cannot exist in the presence of danger.

If you are living in a world where you are habitually living in fight or flight or freeze state, then you’re body is actively always responding to stress.

You can’t build a fertile body this way.

Prenatals, tracking ovulation, clean foods, fertility teas those are the icing on the cake.

But having a safe body with an abundance of energy is the actually cake.

You can’t have a cake without the batter.

Comment “safe body” to learn more.

... Read moreI remember feeling so frustrated, pouring all my energy into tracking ovulation, taking every supplement, and eating perfectly clean, yet still asking myself, 'Why am I not getting pregnant?' It felt like I was doing everything right, but nothing was working. Through my journey and seeing so many women struggle, I've realized that sometimes we're missing a crucial, foundational step that goes beyond the typical fertility advice. The core insight? Our bodies need to feel safe to conceive and carry a pregnancy. Think about it: if your body is constantly in a state of 'fight or flight' or 'freeze' due to chronic stress, it perceives danger. In this survival mode, growing a baby isn't a priority; survival is. This isn't just about feeling stressed mentally; it's a physiological response that impacts your hormones and reproductive system. You might experience signs like painful periods, persistent fatigue, or anxiety – these are often whispers from your body telling you it doesn't feel safe enough to thrive, let alone create new life. As the saying goes, your body prioritizes survival over growing a baby when it senses danger. So, how do you create this 'safe body' and genuinely boost your chances of getting pregnant, even if you feel like you've tried everything? It's about shifting from a state of survival to a state of abundance and calm. This is how you create a safe body. Firstly, address chronic stress. This is often easier said than done, but simple practices can make a huge difference. Incorporate daily moments of calm: deep breathing exercises, short meditation, or even just 10-15 minutes of quiet time. Gentle movement like walking or restorative yoga can also help regulate your nervous system without adding physical stress. Secondly, prioritize restorative sleep. Our bodies do their healing and hormone balancing overnight. Aim for 7-9 hours of quality sleep. This means creating a consistent bedtime routine, making your bedroom a sanctuary, and avoiding screens before bed. Thirdly, nourish your body beyond just 'clean eating.' Focus on nutrient-dense foods that stabilize blood sugar and provide consistent energy. While prenatals and supplements are helpful (the 'icing on the cake' as the article says), the 'cake' itself is whole, unprocessed foods that support your metabolic health. Think healthy fats, quality proteins, and plenty of colorful vegetables. Finally, listen to your body's whispers. Those painful periods, the fatigue, the anxiety – don't just push through them. These are *SIGNS YOUR BODY DOESN'T FEEL SAFE*. Consider what your body truly needs. Sometimes, it's saying 'slow down,' 'rest,' or 'seek support.' Connecting with these signals and responding with care is a powerful way to tell your body it's safe to relax and open up to conception. While tracking your cycle meticulously is helpful, especially if you have a 30-day cycle and want to know *when to get pregnant*, remember that a healthy, balanced body makes the most of that timing. By creating a truly 'safe body,' you're not just optimizing for a specific age or a specific cycle day; you're building a fertile foundation that empowers your body's natural ability to conceive, no matter where you are in your journey towards getting pregnant. It's about optimizing your internal environment for conception.
