🍯 Honey-Glazed Apple Cinnamon Rolls 🍎
I finally gave in and made these… and I’m so glad I did! 😍
My mom wanted something sweet and asked me to make either fruit rolls or cookies. While I was at Walmart, I spotted the Pillsbury Grands! Apple Fruit Rolls and challenged myself to see if I could make them taste homemade instead of straight from the can.
Mission accomplished. 🤭✨
🛒 What I used:
🤎 2 tbsp brown sugar
✨ 1 tsp ground cinnamon
✨ 1 tsp cinnamon sugar
🥛 ¼ cup heavy whipping cream
🍎 1 fresh apple, diced small
🍯 Honey for drizzling after baking
👩🏽🍳 How I made them:
1. Placed the fruit rolls in my baking dish.
2. Poured the heavy whipping cream around the rolls.
3. Mixed the brown sugar, cinnamon, cinnamon sugar, and diced apples, then spooned the mixture over each roll.
4. Baked according to the package directions.
5. Finished with a light drizzle of honey while they were still warm.
💭 My honest review
The heavy whipping cream completely changed the texture. Instead of tasting like canned rolls, they came out incredibly soft, fluffy, and gooey.
The fresh apples made them taste more like warm apple pie, and the honey added just enough sweetness without overpowering everything else.
I’d honestly make these again for breakfast, brunch, or even dessert.
⭐ My rating: 9.5/10
💡 Tips if you make them:
• Dice the apples into small pieces so they soften while baking.
• Pour the heavy cream around the rolls—not directly on top.
• Add the honey after baking so it stays smooth and glossy.
• Serve warm for the best texture.
💾 Save this recipe for the next time you’re craving something sweet without making everything from scratch.
