Creamy Chicken Noodle Soup
Ingredients
2 cups shredded chicken
half white onion diced
2 stalks chopped celery
2 carrots peeled and chopped
olive oil
2tbs butter
garlic(measure with your ❤️)
6 cups chicken broth
1 cup heavy cream
8 oz wide egg noodles
rosemary
sage
italian seasoning
garlic p.
onion p.
salt
pepper
paprika
Directions
Sautée veggies in olive oil and butter until onions are translucent. Add in minced garlic and sautée another min or so. Add in chicken broth and chicken. Season with the spices listed above. I dont measure these I just go with vibes here so season, taste, and add as needed. Mix and bring everything to a boil. Once boiling add in your egg noodles. Mine said 6-8min of cook time so I went with 6. You want to go with the minimum amount of time here, just trust. When the time on the noodles is up cut off the heat and add in the heavy cream. Mix and let sit for about 5 min. This is letting the noodles finish cooking without them getting mushy. Make sure to taste one last time to see if you need to add any more salt or pepper(adding in the heavy cream, you might need to) We like to have ours with a sprinkle of parmesan on top but this is completely optional!
