"A little" means different thingsto them and to you.

When you need a new denture made, telling your dentist what you actually want is harder than most people think.

When you take it out of your mouth, the drool stretches into a little string, and that alone is enough to feel embarrassed. And even when you point inside your own mouth and try to explain, it still doesn't really get across.

Upper, lower, right, left — very often, the two of you don't even mean the same thing. Is it "right" as the dentist faces you, or "right" from your own point of view? That one difference alone can make the complete opposite of what you wanted happen. And before you realize it, you've simply gone along with whatever you were told.

And even the word "a little" can mean different things to the person making it and the person wearing it. My "just a little" and their "just a little" aren't always the same. With words alone, that gap is hard to close.

That was me.

So I made something that isn't difficult at all. The only thing you do is take a photo and keep it. At your appointment, you show it — and it speaks for you, without the words. Just being able to point and say "here" makes that gap much smaller.

And if you take a photo before any work is done, you can compare it afterward. You get to see for yourself that it really got better. These things are often hard to tell just by looking, so having a photo simply brings a little peace of mind.

I'm not trying to change everything. I just want your wishes to come through a little more. I want the time you spent only following along to become, even a little, time when you got to choose for yourself. It's a small thing — but I believe it can give you a little confidence.
