Attending Halloween Horror Nights for its 35th anniversary was a thrilling experience, not only because of the scare zones and haunted houses but also due to the incredible variety of themed food offerings across the park. Each food booth seemed to capture the spirit of the event through creative names and unique flavors. One highlight was the Death Tank Food Booth’s Death by Cheese Stick, a crunchy, savory snack that was perfect for sharing between scares. The cheesy goodness had a nice balance of seasoning, making it a great quick bite. At Louie’s Italian Restaurant, the Rigatoni Ritual Pizza stood out with its hearty toppings and perfectly baked crust. It was a comforting meal amidst the adrenaline of the event, especially for those craving something more filling. The Stranger Things Food Booth intrigued fans of the series with El’s Battery Jerky, a flavorful and protein-packed snack priced at $16.99. It offered a unique twist on jerky, combining smoky and spicy notes. For southern comfort food lovers, the Sinner’s Food Booth delivered with its Chow’s Southern BBQ Eggrolls and a delectable Pecan & Whiskey Bread Pudding, which were reasonably priced and packed with flavor. Vegans were not left out, thanks to the Día de los Muertos Food Booth’s Fritos Vegan Walking Taco. It was surprisingly robust in flavor and a tasty option for plant-based visitors. Finally, the Jack Surplus Food Booth’s Carn “Evil” Smash Tacos rounded out the experience with bold, spicy flavors that complemented the chaotic and fun atmosphere of Halloween Horror Nights. Overall, the culinary experience at HHN’s 35th year was as memorable as the haunting attractions. The pricing was reasonable for a theme park, and the variety of food ensured there was something for every taste and dietary preference. If you plan to visit the event, I highly recommend budgeting time to sample these creative dishes—you won’t regret it!
