Survived My Birthday. Didn’t Survive B and N.

I lived through another year, but I struggled to survive Barnes & Noble. Though I didn't blackout too much, I went all out. I blame both my birthday gift cards and the Black Friday deals for my new stack of books, which will sit next to my never-ending TBR. However, I gained more from my B&N membership than I saved with the discounts!

Anyways, here is what I grabbed:

I also grabbed 'Rabbit Club' by T. Christopher J. Yates, which looks like an intriguing thriller. The stack wouldn't be complete without 'The Compound' by Aisling Rawle and 'The Unworthy' by Agustina Bazterrica, which have been highly recommended by fellow readers for their gripping narratives. 'Cultish: The Language of Fanaticism' by Amanda Montell rounds out the collection, diving into the fascinating psychology behind cults and fanaticism — a compelling nonfiction read that adds variety to my usually fiction-heavy to-be-read pile. Thanks to my Barnes & Noble membership, I saved more than just the Black Friday discounts, proving that investing in memberships for your favorite bookstores can be a smart move for avid readers.
