Barcelona - Steal my itinerary ✍️

A perfect day in Barcelona 🇪🇸! Endless art and food to explore.

Gaudí’s work is truly unmatched! The designs live and breathe when you take the time to appreciate each detail. And the food in Barcelona never disappoints, especially when you know the best spots to find it (hint hint: my new favorite app🍴).

Which stop are you adding to your itinerary first? 👇

... Read moreIf you're planning a visit to Barcelona, I highly recommend starting your day with a great coffee and pastry from a local café to fuel up for your adventure. Barcelona’s morning vibe truly sets the mood for an exciting day ahead. From there, I found booking Casa Batlló tickets in advance to be a game-changer, as it saved me precious time waiting in lines, though sometimes off-peak days allow for spontaneous visits. The Basilica of the Sagrada Familia is unquestionably a must-see. Booking your tickets weeks ahead is essential to secure your preferred visit time, especially since this iconic masterpiece constantly draws crowds. The afternoon light filtering through the stained glass windows creates an unforgettable atmosphere that arts enthusiasts will appreciate deeply. For lunch, sharing tapas family-style was one of my favorite experiences. Dishes like pan con tomate, patatas bravas, and olives provide an authentic taste of Catalan cuisine. Using apps like The Fork to find restaurant discounts made dining not only delicious but also budget-friendly. After exploring, taking a break with a unique snack such as the "Pornstar 126" cocktail or something local adds a refreshing pause before heading for some shopping. I enjoyed browsing shops like El Corte Inglés for souvenirs or fashion finds before dinner. Dinner in Barcelona starts late, so pace yourself! The city offers an impressive variety of cuisines; I discovered a cozy Georgian restaurant that truly stood out. Remember, Barcelona's eclectic food scene ensures you'll always find something new to try. Overall, Barcelona’s blend of rich art from Gaudí, vibrant street life, and outstanding food makes it a destination worth savoring slowly. Don’t forget to use helpful travel apps to enhance your experience and make the most of your trip planning.
