How to travel Barcelona under $400 (1 Week)

Barcelona is a beautiful city with lots to see, but it can be expensive. Here's how to enjoy it without spending too much money.

Transportation:

Getting around Barcelona is easy with the metro and buses. A single ride costs 💰Price:$2.5, but if you'll be using public transport a lot, get a 4-day pass for 💰Price:$33. It gives you unlimited rides within the city.

Accommodation:

Barcelona hotels can be pricey, especially in the city center. Book ahead and stay a bit further out to save money. You can find hostels for as low as 💰Price:$23 per night for a bed in a shared room, or 💰Price:$32 for your own private room.

Food:

You can eat well in Barcelona without spending a lot. Look for cheap restaurants where you can get a meal for around 💰Price:$10. Mercado de La Boqueria is a great spot for affordable snacks and sandwiches. It's easy to grab something quick before heading out to explore.

Attractions:

There are plenty of free things to do in Barcelona, like visiting parks and monuments. Take advantage of these to keep costs down. If you're a student, bring your ID card for discounts on museum tickets.
